We get to have an u/s every week now :)

Hi :)

I just got back from my regular OB appointment. Everyting is going well. I've gained exactly 20 lbs (ugh!) and Katie is measure 29 weeks, which is what I will be tomorrow.

Since my 1st pregnancy resulted in a placental abruption, my Dr wants to keep an eye on the baby and the placenta. We'll have an u/s every week to check on the the functioning of the placenta and watch Katie's breathing. Isn't that so cool?! I'm just so excited (can you tell..lol?)

How's everyone else doing?

Hi Alli!

That is REALLY COOL! How exciting that you will get to see Katie's progress EVERY week! Keep us posted. What was special about the U/S today? Share with us!!

You lucky duck! I always feel so much more connected to my growing baby when I can see him. When little Katie comes out you'll feel as if you already know her. Imagine the detail you'll be able to see in those later ultra sounds too. Good Luck!

You are so lucky!
Although I do not want to find out the gender of our baby until the birth, I was really hoping to have an ultra sound picture just for the baby's book. With my son I was able to have 2 because I measured small throughout my pregnancy. My insurance does not allow an U/S without a medical reason. Oh well.
Have fun and let us know about the changes you see in development.

RE: Hi Alli!

Actually, the first u/s isn't until Wednesday (just a little over 48 hrs... :-jumpy) and then next Friday and every Friday after that. You know I'll be putting any new pictures on the web site too :)
