So far I love this treadmill. Yes it is a continuous horsepower motor. It is very easy to quickly adjust the incline and the speeds. It has loads of features. It has 26 preset workouts in it already. Of course you can do your own. It has iFIT compatability. If you do the preset programs it has a graph on the readout that moves along and it moves the speed changes and incline changes for you. It also has a quarter mile track that moves as you go. So far I have only tried one of the preset programs. I ordered one of the cd's from iFIT just to try it out. These are supposed to control the treadmill for you as well. It has audio jacks for your headphones in the console and an audio jack for your mp3 player, computer, stereo, vcr etc.. It goes to 12 mph. There are many other features as well. I am still checking them out. It has a lifetime warranty on the motor. We did purchase an extended warranty.
Yes I would highly recommend it.
