Ways To Use Low Impact Step

For all you advanced exercisers who purchased Low Impact Step but don't know how often you'll use it, I tried something this morning that worked out great. I first did Low Impact Step on an 8 inch step, putting power moves in here and there. I then followed that up with PLB (just the standing portion). It really made PLB a lot tougher. I was sweating like a fiend by the end and my legs were shaking much more than they would have if I had done just PLB alone.

I think Low Impact Step would work really well before S & H Legs too.
I'm getting more use out of Low Impact Step than I thought I would. What a pleasant surprise!

I got Low Impact step with the intention of using it as a kind of cardio warm-up on weight days. Since I have to make the most of my workout time lately (I'm lucky if I get in 4 days a week ;( ), I like that cardio/weight combo.

I did use it the first time "as-is" on an 8" step (putting in some power where there wasn't any). It's a fun workout!

Great idea! I've also been incorporating this workout with my weight workouts - it works just great! (Great minds think alike!)

I just did Low Impact Step (up to the last blast) followed by the leg premix from MM) last night. It was a very nice combo (and LIS preexhausted my legs for MM!)

That sounds like a good mix, Kathryn. There are so many good leg/LIS combos to try. I think in my next month's rotation I'll try LIS before S & H Legs (I usually need some extra preexhaustion for that one).
