Way OT...Freshlook Toric Contact Lenses

Does anyone wear these lenses? I went to a new eye doctor that put me in these, instructed me to use the thermal disinfecting system and told me to change them out every 2 MONTHS. BUT, when I did a search (of course, after buying them) all of the write-ups state that recommended disposal is 1-2 WEEKS. Anyone else heard the 2 month disposal? Any input is appreciated (of course, it's Sunday so I can't check the doc that I've decided to switch to).

Actually, most doctors recommend 1 month... Even if the company tells you 2 weeks (I think it's a money-making thing). Most likely, people will keep using them more than a couple of week anyway. You should also be able to tell ... after a month or so I can't see as well out of some of my lenses and they are uncomfortable, so I throw them out. Other lenses feel fantastic after 6 weeks or more. I used Freshlook colorblends (not toric) for a while, and I actually did have to throw them out after 3 weeks. But I think my eyes were very sensitive to them.

I think 1 month is the perfect amount of time, though. Then you're not likely to risk infections or tears or anything that would harm your eyes.
