Good Lord!!!! Is it after 9 already??? Where the heck did my day go??? First, though, I have to say that Kim gave me my biggest laugh of the day with her story from work...except for seeing a bunch of 7 years olds up on a stage pretending to be lions, elephants and roosters! I did NOT get to visit with Eoin today...I was busy running various and sundry errands that were not all that exciting. I did study for my test tomorrow..which is something, I guess. I did have a very nice, relaxing massage....that was well worth that hour!
My legs are feeling a little tight from yesterdays workout, but not too bad. And I don't know if it was the massage or what, but I don't have any DOMS in my back...and I was expecting them. Whatever.
Okay...onto some quick personals...I need a good night's sleep tonight so that I can be rested to go conquer my test in the morning........
Kim...
Thanks for the laugh...and way to go with PUB yesterday!!!!!!
Traci...
Hope all went well with your clients today. And hope you got your studying in as planned. When is your bUUUfet concert?? I am certainly looking forward to ours!! I can't drive past a sushi place now without thinking of Wendell and his beard. In fact, I think I will have sushi for lunch tomorrow!! You know, I haven't iced my knee since it really hasn't been swollen. I guess I probably should, hunh. I think I just over did it yesterday with all the filters and the Wii bowling...LOL! Really, though, I think it is a torn/pulled/strained ligament....should I be icing that?? Aren't you the link to WebMD?? Thanks for making laugh yesterday about XDH's nasty email. He is such a creep sometimes!!
Patricia...
WooHoo on the warm front...LOL! I need a pedi as well...since I DID wear open toed sandals today...and my toes were not very pretty. I guess I will do that tomorrow or Thursday. I see you got Wendy's opinion on the RT. Let us know if you decide to go, though...especially if you go in August since I will be up at Wendy's visiting during that weekend!! Hope you enjoyed your yoga class....So your town has yoga, but no good Japanese??
Laurie...
The boss's DD is getting married in Jamaica?? Wow...that actually sounds pretty fun. Do you think he would mind if we crashed the wedding?? I will have to get some Tylenol as I think I only have kid's strength in the house! I can just picture your DD wildly flailing her arms in an attempt to gain your attention. That really created a picture....lol.
Jeanette...
My knee was actually better today until Polly ran into me and bumped me the wrong way. Ugh. And then I insisted on wearing some very pretty heels to the Diva's recital. Shuuush. I wish I had a video camera to show you guys what a dainty elephant she made at her concert....It was really funny!! My class ends the first of May, but I only have 2 weeks after that until my next round of classes. Maybe DH can come put some of my laundry away if he is feeling spunky...We serve lots of wine here...especially when you work for us. Maybe he would like to come and plant some trees...We pay REALLY well for that!!! And clam chowder too??? Hope your weather is good for your ride this evening. What did the doctor say??
Sandra...
Glad to see you out from your pile of research papers! Hope the editing is going well...and quickly! I promise that the story of the crazy neighbors is tooooooo long to share online...I don't type fast enough...Let me just say...the DH is part of some pyramid scheme and convinced his wife that he just HAD to have a Rolex. Whatever. Anyhoo, the rest of the story just has to do with a biting/barking/mean Boston Terrier and a 2 y/o who has apparently not been taught ANY boundaries and who wolfed down 2 pieces of pizza without so much as a blink. This only broadly touches on the events of the evening. Glad to know I am not alone in the 7 y/o moodiness. WTF?? What is it going to be like when they are 14??? I think your Y training sounds great!!
Wendy...
Glad you are starting to feel better...no more Lindy appearances, I hope! If the knee doesn't get better, I promise to go to the doc. I am hoping that with taking it easy a bit the knee will heal on it's own without actually having to go to the doctor. Or maybe I'm just lazy...LOL!! Shuush with you and the back!!! Take it easy, young woman! I, too, have to chime in and wonder what is wrong with Japanese food. I don't know if you noticed, but I, too distanced myself from Staci and CBL...He and I just don't agree...except, I think we do have an agreement NOT to talk about it.
Nicole..
I am sure you don't want to hear about what screw I think is loose in men's heads...LOL! Good luck on finding an affordable vacation. I don't envy that chore...wait, isn't it supposed to be fun?? Hope you had a fun lunch today.
Of course, my personals took longer than I meant...but it is still only 10:15...I think I can get some good sleep...and then cram some more for the test in the morning. Nothing else major on the books for tomorrow...I may end up planting those darn trees afterall!!!! Waving to Lea, Teddygirl and Tracy. Take care everyone, and I will see you all in the morning.
