It may sound weird, but to lose water weight, drink more water! When you are dehydrated your body holds onto whatever water it can, which can mean additional pounds on the scale. Also, if your diet contains a lot of sodium, that can make you retain more water.
It's hard to tell from the scale how much is water weight and how much is just weight. I suggest having your body fat measured. Have it done about every 6 weeks to see if you're making progress. Try to center your diet around lean protein and veggies, with occasional fruit. Drink plenty of water. Hopefully that will get the scale moving in the right direction and help with feeling bloated.
