In the past year or so, there has been a lot of debate about the recommended 8 glasses per day. You're getting 12-15 cups, so that's great. It's important to stay hydrated during intense exercise. I think erring on the side of more water is better- no risk for dehydration, keeps everything flowing through your body, etc.
I'm glad you're getting used to water lol! Have you tried any flavored waters? I'm not a fan personally, but a lot of people say that lime flavored water tastes like Sprite. I'm not sure what the added sugar is though... Oh, and there's also Crystal Lite- not bad if you like lemonade or iced-tea.
