Does anyone know of any websites that have reviews on these? We need to buy new ones and I found a Consumer Reports magazine from Feb 05 but wanted to get other suggestions. Anyone know of any sites? I am looking at the front load ones. Has anyone bought these? Have any suggestions on what ones to buy?

Well, I was going to say Consumer Reports, but you're a step ahead already. That's probably the best place for reviews and recommendations - they've never failed me. If you want "real" people's reviews, try www.epinions.com. Very handy website!
Sorry, I don't have a front-load washer (I was too cheap to get one of those), so I can't recommend any. We have a very nice Kenmore set that has served us very well for a few years so far. Kenmore is manufactured for Sears by GE - my husband used to work for GE Appliances and the low-down is that the Kenmore appliances are similar to the GE, but higher quality. Sears required that GE use better specs and tougher standards when manufacturing the Kenmore line.

I bought them in 2001 and have been VERY please with them. The washer uses less water than the top loader did, and it also seems to be much easier on my clothes since there's no agitator for them to get wrapped around. I also find that I can use less soap.
The only con with the washer is that the final spin cycle is a little loud. But other than that it's been great.
