Warner Robins Georgia

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone here lives near Warner Robins Georgia. I am going there for a week in Feb for work. How is the weather in Feb? Any good running areas (trails, tracks etc)?

Hello Beverly! I just about fell out when I saw that someone was asking about Warner Robins!! There are a fair amount of people on this forum from Georgia, but ironically none from central and south GA except Rhonda, from Cathe's crew, and Sheila, the pregnancy expert, who both moved to the region not that long ago, and me of course. Anyway, my husband works in Warner Robins, but commutes, so I can't suggest much to you in the way of running areas. The weather has been very sporadic. For about 3 weeks or so we experienced Spring-like weather, but now we are back to "normal" for us. Tell me the week you will be here, and I will email you when they are predicting the weather for that week. Does that sound good?

Is your husband in the military? I work for the Air Force as a civilian. My husband is active duty though.

I have never even been to Georgia. I was in Alabama and Mississippi..

Anyway, do you know if they have a trail or good gym on the base?

I wonder where Rhonda is in Georgia? That would be cool to meet one of Cathe's crew..... or even another Cathe fan...

OH Yeah, I will be there the week of Feb 14..

My husband is a contractor at the base. I will ask him if he can find out about the gym situation. The last I heard Rhonda was in Americus which is about 90 to 120 miles from me (can't remember exactly). I'll try to help you out with the weather forecast. Talk to you soon!
 
I don't know this to be true, but someone posted awhile ago that Rhonda had moved BACK to Jersey??? I'll see if I can find the post. Beverly, have a great time. It will be nice to go south after a looong winter.
