Hello everyone. I am new to this website and also the Cathe. I just discovered her late last week on FItTV. I am in need of toning my body which has disappeared after the birth of my second son 3 yrs. ago. I want a lean toned body and would like to know the best exercises to do to achieve this goal. I am the hourglass shape and I just found out that I have TMJ so I can't snack on raw carrot sticks or on broccoli without the pain in my jaws.x( I need to work out at home because of my busy schedule I'm unable to attend a gym. I reside in Louisiana where it is very humid so running outside is pretty much out. I tone up pretty quick but I don't want to be bulky (which I can do) I want slimmer arms, legs, tight abs, & toned butt.
I love my sweet & fruit. (also have weakness for breads)x(
Hi LaWanna, welcome to the boards. You might want to start with Basic Step/Body Fusion and High Step Circuit-Beginner. The choreography is easy and it'd give you a feel for Cathe's style. If you've been working out before and are just getting back to it, you might like to start with full body workouts like Power Hour, Max. Intensity Strength, Muscle Endurance and Muscle Max. For cardio, there is a lot to choose from. The ones that I found easy to follow are KPC, Imax2, Interval Max and Low Max. If you like to mix cardio and weights, you can get the high step workouts, Circuit Max, Cardio and Weights, SJP and Bootcamp. The CTX series is also good if you've been working out before. You get to do a short 30-minute cardio session and work one body part a day. The series also has Leaner Legs and a compilation of ab workouts. Hope this doesn't confuse you. Cathe is prolific and her body of work is enormous, but they're all good.
