Walkers?????

:D I just started adding walking 10,000 steps a day along with my Cathe workouts! At work we have a wellness path that I walk during lunch and breaks, hoping to lose this stubborn weight and I know it will happen! Do any of you faithfully walk as well as workout?
 
I usually walk during 20 minutes in my breakfast break.

I normally walk 30 min. every day at work and will until the weather gets to cold. For North Carolina that is usually @ January. I like power-walking but continue doing my normal workouts as well. My goal is to increase my activity thru the day and not be sedentary.

I usually take my daughter for a stroller walk for 25 minutes daily - I think it's about 3,000 steps.

I started a Walking Group at work - we have a trail behind our office and so walk every day around 11:30 for 30 minutes or whatever anyone can do! We have fast walkers, walkers, and shufflers! But they're out there doing it! It's been a lot of fun! :) :)

I walk/run my dog most days...really for her benefit as she had gotten really out of shape. She's looking better though!

Then I also walk with DH & dog again in the evening, IF I get home at a half-way reasonable hour, because it's the only way I can get DH to work out at all!

I have the pedometer & have been doing the 10,000 steps thing for awhile now. I don't have much problem meeting my goal most of the time...we seem to take more steps than I would have guessed.

I start my day with a 5 mile walk. I live in CT. I walk all year round. If it is icy out or very windy I might skip a day. In the dead of winter I might cut it to 3 miles. When I get home from my walk I do a Cathe tape. I walk 7 days a week and 5 days do Cathe. If I am tired I pick something easy like Push-Pull or Supersets. My favorites are strength training.
I like walking I love the fresh air. I live on the coast so I walk along the beach.
