There is always someone here who knows a little something about every topic under the sun so here's my question: In 1979, when I was 14, Van Halen released their 1st album. My question is about the song "Running with the Devil": The lyric goes...."got no love, no love in ?"...what, what, WHAT is David Lee Roth saying?!!? For 23 years I've been listening to this song and I have yet to figure it out. My closest guess is "Korea" or "career" which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Surely one of you headbangers knows the answer. I have the album (remember those?!?) but there are no lyrics included. (And yes, apparently I do have too much time on my hands ;-) )

And to bring things back on topic, it's a kick-butt song to lift too :)

RE: Ha!

You can find the lyrics at purelyrics.com but the line you're referring to goes...

I got no love, no love you'd call real

RE: YEE-HA AND

WOO-HOO!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Stacy!!!! :-jumpy "no love you'd call real" - that makes SO much more sense than "Korea"!!! FINALLY, 23 years of guessing has ended 15 minutes after I posted the question. This forum is too cool. And thanks for the website info - it will save me future torture!

Hey Debbie, how are ya? I check in here evey day, just don't always have anything to say! Thanks for asking!
