Video suggetions for exercising with my husband

I am thrilled! My husband has been getting up for my 5:00 a.m. workouts on T-TH which are my cardio days. (He strength trains M-W-F evenings. We have been doing Tae Bo because of its straight forward "none dancey" approach. Personally I love Cardio Kicks but think it might be a bit dancey for him. I think if I do kick boxing twice a week (especially tae boe) I'll get burned out. I wonder if he would like my reebok intense moves or extreme step. What do you think? Does anyone else have this concern?

Have you checked out the Kickbox workout from the Xtrain series? That ones more straightforward than Cardio Kicks, pretty much just kicking and punching drills with a little jump rope/footwork thrown in the middle for a cardio break. That one strikes me as something a guy would like, and it's better than Tae Bo in terms od warm up, stretching, etc. But still has the fun, energetic feel of a Tae Bo class.

My husband and I have always worked out together...but it has usually been karate related, as that is how we met. Lately I have been doing my cardio tapes and lifting weights. He was being a smart aleck, and decided to join me for Cathe's Maximum Intensity Strength. He started out giggling and acting all girly. He wasn't very nice towards the middle when he kept calling Cathe out of her name. (Sorry to offend...but you know guys can't stand it when they are being outdone by a woman!) :)

Anyhow, back to your question. He has started doing more of them with me. He likes Step Reebok Intense moves because the choreography is easy, but workout is challenging. He also likes Maximum Intensity Cardio for the same reasons. He has come to terms with the fact that Cathe can out do him, and he deals with it!

Good Luck!!
