This video clip is from Cathe's "Compound Giant Sets-Light Weight Live", that was first broadcast on Thursday, July 9th on Cathe Live and is our 58th live broadcast.

Using a set of lighter pound dumbbells, we'll be doing seven consecutive compound exercises (giant set) for approximately 10 to 12 reps per exercise. We will repeat these seven exercises for a total of four rounds of giant sets. There will be very little rest between each exercise and at the end of each round there will be a slightly longer rest. This work out will increase your stamina, burn body fat and tone muscles.

Equipment needed for this workout:

Handweights: A set of 8''s (or slightly lighter or heavier)
A fitness mat

This was a fun workout, it's great that you only need a set of 8 pound weights. Good metabolic training
 
I did this yesterday and loved it. There was very little impact so it's practically a non impact workout. The impact that was there was easily modified down and I was sweating buckets. So glad I used only 5#. Wouldn't have been able to hang with Cathe on the 8s. The 5s worked great for me.
