VERY newbie question

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and am SOOO confused. I've been working out with the Firm for a couple months and would consider myself an intermediate. I love step and kickbox for cardio and would like to build a rotation with cardio/strength. I've checked out a couple Cathe's from my library (Wedding & PowerMax), so that's my intro to her videos. I love the wedding video, but PowerMax is intense.

Anyway, my question is which cardio & strength videos would be suitable for my level.

Thanks, I've already learned alot from you guys just reading thru some of the posts.

Hi SuzyQ - welcome! I'm pretty new here myself, but I own quite a few of Cathe's vids. I would suggest you try out Cardio Kicks if you like cardio kickboxing. It's a great video and can keep you challenged for a long time. I would say I was intermediate when I got it and couldn't get through the whole thing, but that was the fun part! That pretty much goes for most of Cathe's videos... they will help you TAKE yourself to the next level if you go at them with all your might, I've stepped up several notches since working with Cathe. Plus they are fun. Very fun. I love Cardio Kicks. ;-)

WOW! You have a library that has Cathe! I live near a major city which has what I consider a large library system and my video selection leaves much to be desired. Do you know how lucky you are? Good for you! Jeanne

have you checked out cathe's ctx express? it has different forms of cardio from step to kickboxing and each tape has a cardio section and a strength section. there is one tape that is devoted entirely to legs. lots of variety that's challenging but doable.

Try MIS - It is great - in fact, after I did it for a few weeks, I went back to do one my favorite firms - Classic 1 - and it was a piece of cake - much easier than it ever has been - My strength with MIS has definately increased my strength and the form pointers are wonderful.

Thanks, everyone! MIS and Cardiokicks were 2 I was definitely looking at. I forgot to mention that I am trying to lose 50 lbs, so I really have to modify a lot to save stress on my knees. I'm doing Weight Watchers and have lost 16 lbs so far.

Thanks again, I'll let you know what I decide to get.
