I’d really like to take some vegetarian or vegan cooking classes. Whole Foods offers them periodically. I’ve checked with the local college, and there are none Does anyone have any ideas where else I can look?
Pick up a copy of Vegatarian Times magazine, or VegNews (VegNews used to offer free trial copies at their web site). There are ads in the back,, some of which are for veggie cooking classes.
Just an idea---->Check out http://delicioustv.com. It's a vegetarian cooking show (not vegan). Maybe you get this show in your area(???). (I really wish I did). I did purchased Toni Fiore's DVD and I must say that I really enjoy her light-hearted cooking style (remember I know absolutely nothing in the kitchen!!) The only problem is that I get really hungry watching it...lol

ETA: I am not even going to tell you what I ate watching it!!

>I see you live in NJ - if you are close to NYC, there is a cooking school called the Natural Gourmet. Very low key. I took a course there ages ago - okay like 15 but it was very informative, and the teacher I had actually went on to write a cookbook.
I just checked to see if it's still around - the link is naturalgourmetschool.com - I will try to put the link in.
