Vacation Photos = reality check

Do photos really add ten pounds? I just got back vacation pics and a few were horrifying! I know that the camera adds some dimension and I know that I am coming off an injury but some of these pics made me gasp.

I hate most pictures of myself too. It just never seems to look like me when I see them!

It sure seems like the camera adds that weight! A few months ago, I was looking at photos from a friend's wedding, and I was feeling especially shocked by how LARGE I looked in them. But then I noticed that my stick-insect friend (who is literally a size 00) also looked a bit heavier in them. It made me feel somewhat better.

I've heard of a digital camera that actually makes people look thinner . . . . Maybe it's time to through out our current cameras and get one of those!;-)

It's ALL about angle and lighting. If you look at 10 pics of yourself at the same event on the same day, some will be awful and some will be great. I just toss the bad ones and focus on the good ones. :+
