i tried it today and liked it. it has no added sugar-i double checked the ingredients but it does have 20 grms from fruit. is it still ok to drink since its from natural sources? 20 grms is alot.

You'd be a lot better off eating your fruits & veggies - you would stay full longer and get more fiber. "Never drink your calories" - one of the top commandments of weight loss. In the long run, it would be cheaper, too.

I agree that it's better to take fruits and veggies as the whole fruit or veggie rather than as juice. There is very little fiber (if any) in juice, and the more concentrated sugars are not as healthy as the sugars that come in 'the whole package' with their natural fiber. Also, unless you squeeze them yourself, juices are processed foods that are heated before bottling, destroying the natural enzymes they contain.

A very occasional V-Fusion wouldn't be bad, but I wouldn't recommend making it, or any juice, part of a regular diet. The best way to use it, IMO, would be as part of a smoothie with added protein or other nutrients.

Laura,
I'm glad to hear you liked it, as I was planning on getting some myself. I agree with the other posters that juice isn't the first vehicle of choice for fruit/vegetables, but I also am realistic. I frequently like to have a glass of juice in the morning while I'm getting ready for work, if I don't have time to eat. The sugars give me a boost from the overnight fast and the liquid is hydrating. I also sometimes will have a small glass in the evening, if I am having a "sweet tooth" moment, as I don't eat candy, ice cream, etc. I also like to cut my juices, many of which I find too heavy, with a little sparkling water. This also lowers the sugar and calorie contents. Enjoy!!

i agree not to use it as a main source of your fruit/veggie intake but like NY25, i like to have juice first thing in themorning b/c i don't want to eat but i need something before working out. i also take two serving of creatine(one before and one after workouts) and can't stand the taste with plain water so its much better with juices.

on a side note, when i go to my in-laws(who don't seem to like veggies and that potatoes make up for the veggies)i usually tag along a bottle of V8 regular veggie juice so get something.plus it actually fills me up a bit if i drink it before eating.
