Using the high step

I'm brand new to the forum and have a question. Does Cathe use the high step for aerobics i.e. actually doing step on the higher, small platform and if so how can I modify? I fell off the 8" portion of the Firm fanny lifter which IMHO is much too small for step aerobics and I broke my wrist. I needed surgery, pins and am out of work for weeks. At this point I'm terrified to get on any step but I have Cathe's BB series and really want to use it whe my cast is off and the doc says I can exercise again. Thanks.:)

Hi Bernie and WELCOME! No, I would not use the High Step for regular step workouts. (Cathe does have a couple workouts that use the High Step but they are designed to use it. High Step Training Advanced and High Step Training) I am sorry to hear of your injury. How awful! I can truly understand why you would have a fear to try again. I would start with Cathe's Basic step workout to get familiar with her moves. It is a beginner/intermediate workout. Good Luck and hope your wrist heals SOON! WELCOME!

Don't use the fanny lifter for step aerobics. It flips easily. I knoe. I have one. Sorry for your injury.

Hi Marla,

This may not be the best place to post this but I just have to ask...... I really would like to know the story behind :7 your sig image. Since you mentioned fanny, I guess I'm kinda on topic. Everytime I see your posts, I think I'm going to get a rectal exam. OK, I said it. Please help me to get a new mental image. What's the story behind the gloved hand.

Won't turn my back on you until I know,
jordan

Oh my! I'm going to have to change it then. You cracked me up! No, I'm a nurse but by no means a colon/rectal/gastro nurse. I do draw blood & start IVs a lot so hence the gloves.
