Using stability ball for sitting exercises

Does anyone use their stability ball to sit on when doing seated exercises? I did this last night while doing S&H Triceps - mostly because my step doesn't go up as high as Cathe's. I kinda liked the way it felt and think I'll use it for all of the seated ones (except dips, of course). It felt as though I could keep my back straighter.

Anyone else do it?

There is a similar question (on PUB and the stability ball) in the video/DVD forum.

I have been using my stability ball for many seated exercises for quite a while. I like that I am working my core more this way. (For more detail, see my response in the above-mentioned thread).

Hi Donna,

I read a small article in Muscle and Fitness Hers this month that said "Don't have a bench? No problem, you can use your stability ball for almost all exercises you need a bench for." I use it for chest presses, incline chest, etc.

I think it's a great idea to sit on the stability ball and do biceps, triceps, shoulders, like you said it's great for your core.
