Upper thigh muscle pain

Has anyone ever had an upper thigh muscle pain? I was doing 4DS low intensity and on the 3rd blast for the lunges, I felt like I may have pulled something. Discomfort subsides after exercise. I also experienced it during STS M2W2 legs yesterday when I did the 45 degree lunges. I have never had discomfort like this before. Has anyone???

Where?

I was suffering from groin/adductor pain. Doing extra reps of the stability ball wall squats with the alternating leg lifts strengthened the front of the thigh which strengthened the entire are. Doing certain yoga poses helped open it up and relieve tension.

After warming up, like 6-7 sun salutations, try a kneeling lunge pose, then cobblers pose/bounded angle seated pose, then tri-angle pose, and finish with a forward leaning pigeon pose.

If you feel like you have pulled something, do the yoga poses slowly, gently and carefully - don't over do it.

YES!!!! How funny that you mentioned this, because I also experienced a pain in my upper thigh while doing the 45 degree lunges on STS M2W2 last week. I am doing the 6 mongh rotation, and last week was my repeat week. I did not feel the pain the 1st week, but I did go heavier with the weight the 2nd week. This is the only time I've experienced this pain, and it went away after I finished the workout. I was able to finish, I just didn't go as low on the remaining lunges. I did a hard cardio the next day, and did not feel any pain. For me I believe I used too heavy of a weight for the angle that my leg was going down.
