I did this workout for the 1st time today and I felt that on the chest and back, especially the chest, she was going too fast. No? I was running to pick up the weights and then I was going fast with the heavy weights. I would prefer slower. Am I the only one who feels that way.

oh boy those biceps were a killer!! I liked that workout. Unique concept. But I felt I did not do my best with the chest.

Hi Darine!

I do feel like there isn't alot of time between sets. I usually pause my DVD player and take a little longer to get my next set of weights and get in an extra stretch, especially on the chest segment.

I love this workout! No, I don't think the speed is too fast for the chest. I have found, though, that I typically use 10, 12, 20 pound dumbbells for going up the pyramid and then 15 and 12 for going back down the pyramid for chest. Else, I will reach failure mid-way through pec flies.

I always pause the DVD player prior to the bicep exercises to give my body a rest as I find this portion of the workout the most difficult.

Hope this helps.

Never be afraid to pause a workout! Sure it takes a little longer to get throw the workout...but I find that I am less able to smash fingers and such between plates and bells when I pause.

I keep my remote near by and it leave it accessible and I have painted the pause button with nail polish so that it's easier to spot without my glasses on. I never workout with my glasses on...they are there if I need to read my notes...but they get too steamy...so why bother...smile.

This is my favorite workout. I usually do the biceps after back because they are so hard and I dread them so much.

I only use dumbbells for the workout so the pacing between sets works fine for me. The biceps are tough!

This is my favorite upper body workout from Cathe.
