upper body weight lifting

I have been using your tapes this past year, and it has helped me quite a bit with my upper body stength. Now I have reached a plateau. How can I break that plateau? How can I increase my arm size? I have tried more repetitions, and more weight in lbs... but I think I may be forgetting something. Do you have suggestions?
It would be much appreciated!

Hi Heather! As hard as it is to put the weights down, sometimes the best thing to get stronger (when all else has failed) is to eat clean and put the weights down for a few days. Then when you come back do a couple of weeks of less intense workouts. On week three go back to your regular routine and check out how much stronger you are now :7
 
I did CTX Upper Body and MIS Upper Body for 3 weeks and yesterday I went back to Gym Style and it was really hard for me, I thought I was going to croak. Is this normal?
 
Hi Annabelmcminn! This can sometimes happen and if it does it usually passes very quickly because your muscle memory kicks in. While it will always remain a challenge, it will be a bit more doable soon. Drink water, keep cool, eat well, and sleep hard. Good luck!
