Upper Body Pure Strength

Hi! I've just discovered Cathe's tapes (thanks to the FIRM forum!) I ordered the 2 upper body PS tapes. I love them!... love the style, workout, everything! I think Cathe is awesome and her physique enviable!
I do have a few questions though....
Can you do both workouts in one day or on consecutive days? I know you're not supposed to do the SAME tape 2 days in a row or more than twice a week. Which schedule lends itself to the best results?
Also, I'm a little cash poor right now, thanks to all the videos I've bought! :) I don't have a barbell yet (hopefeully next month!) In the meantime what exercise could I do instead of t-bar rows? Can I do extra sets of one arm lat
rows, instead?
Thanks for any help or info you can provide!

Hi Becky!

So glad you are enjoying these tapes. If you must, you can do both tapes on the same day and/or on consecutive days. But the best way to do it would be one PS tape and then a day off and then the other PS tape and a day off.

In place of t-bar rows, you can do a couple of extra sets of one arm lat rows if your focus is more upper/outer back(or 2 sets of how ever many pull ups you can do, if you have a pull up bar).

But if your focus is more central back, then do standing dumbell rows with your body at a 45 degree forward lean and arms hanging down naturally. Keep an under hand grip with your arms close to your sides as you draw the dumbells back toward the navel. Keep up the great work!

How about the coffee table?

If you use good form

, I would think picking up one end of your coffee table would simulate T-bar rows rather nicely!!! Or if you're really strong, the couch!
