Updates Sandy Mr T Animal Cruelty Case

Hello All,

Sorry so long without an update. I found out today that the guy that hurt Sandy and Mr. T is still in jail. His 3 felony animal cruelty charges were bound over to the circuit court and he'll go before the grand jury for arraignment some time this fall. I also found out I get to testify in court with regard to the case....I'm thinking I ought to be allowed to bring poor Sandy in so the court can see how totally adorably and innocent he is....maybe pass him around to the jurors for a kiss and a cuddle...

He certainly looks like he doesn't give a foof about what he's done, so if I were to find out he got his arse kicked around waiting to go to court, I would have to chuckle.

On the brighter side, Sandy's hair has all grown back in and he's leaping around like a little froggie in a cat suit. He is so incredibly CUTE! I just love him - he's got the absolute best temperment. I don't know how anyone could hurt him at all. I'll try to post some new pics of him soon, and I'll let you know when our ReeseRescues sight is up so you can see all of our other rescues and read about their stories.

Lori - sorry, I must have missed the original story you posted - where do I find it? I find it completely disgusting that anyone could hurr or abuse an animal. My Princess was found in her cat carrier over 4 years ago - abandoned and abused. Four years later, she still has some emotional issues, but from the day I got her, she was the sweetest, most mild-mannered cat you could ever meet. I love her like mad and she is the best thing that ever happened to me!! God Bless you for taking care of Sandy and Mr. T.
 
Lori - I was thinking of you yesterday, wondering what was going on with the kitties. So glad to hear that they are well. You mentioned Sandy - what about Mr. T? Did he get a home? Maybe I missed something. I hope that dude rots in hell, tortured by cats with long fangs and crazy sharp claws. Oh wait, I don't want cats in hell. I do, however, wish for him at the very least the same hell that he put the animals through. Thanks for the update! I have since rescued another cat myself, and spent $3000 on another...oh well, just money, right??! And the new addition is crazy sweet. Special scratches behind the ears to yours, from me :)
 
Mary - the original post was "I got someone arrested" and it is long. This guy killed a kitten, broke the back legs of Sandy - an adorable 12 week old blonde tabby. Then punched and kicked his own cat - "Mr. T" until he had a bloody nose, cracked pelvis and a pneumo thorax - which was causing his lungs to collapse. It was awful. We called the police and the guy was arrested; the officer even exumed the dead kitten so an autopsy could be performed. He is wanted for some kind of fraud too I believe so they took the opportunity to put some additional weight on him so he's more likely to serve time - that's what I'm thinking anyway.

Mr. T ran away. I was super sad but then I found out that he returned to his old apartment building and the tennants that live there are taking care of him. He didn't like all of the kitties I have around my house. :)

$3000? What the heck was wrong with the kitty? That's awful! How on earth do you afford it? My hubby and I had to refi a car to pay our vet bill off. There's still $600 left on Sandy and Mr. T's. UUG!
