My daughter had her surgery yesterday morning, She is doing ok, pretty doped up from all the pain meds, The used a block under the knee and that is connected to a pump for steady pain medication, her leg is numb but still in pain, they pumped her full of so much pain medication that she is sick from it, She will be in the hospital for three days to help get the pain in control and to where she can tolerate the pain with pain meds at home, They got all the tumors out of her leg and sending it to the lab to be tested to make sure it didn't turn into Adimantinoma, he said there is a slight chance it could have done that, the two diseases look just like each other.
My dad is doing ok also, heart is fine, ended up doing another stint is all no open heart surgery but he got a very stern warning from doc, he NOT to mow the lawn anymore LOL.
Thanks all for the great kind words and hugs and prayers, The prayers are still needed, the doctor did say it is only a slight chance this will cure her, and a larger chance the tumors will just grow back.

My heart goes out to you.
I can't even imagine what it is like to have a sick child.
To see them in pain even worse.
;(
Lots a love and prayers . Positive thoughts.
They say your mind has great healing powers. We just don't know how to use them.

Lots of encouragement coming your way.....
Prayers too........

I'll continue to pray for your daughter in hopes that the tumor report comes back negative and that she is quickly relieved of her pain. Please take care of yourself, too. You must be exhausted by now.

I'm so glad you dad didn't need open heart surgery and I hope he will heed the warning.

Thanks for taking the time to update us.

Your daughter and father remain in my prayers. I'm certainly hoping that your daughter will not have to deal with any more tumors and that the pain subsides quickly. I'm glad to hear your father is doing well - now keep him in line.;-)

Bless you.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us an update. It's so frustrating when our kids are sick. You'd do anything to take their place.

Your daughter and dad are still in our prayers and thoughts. Lots of hugs, too!!
