They're totally addictive. I'm planning my next one. I have a lizard on the lower right hand side of my back, right at my pant line and I want to see if the tattoist I go to can incorporate it into a whole lower back piece. If we can't come up with something, then I'm going to get a green and blue dragonfly on the back of my left shoulder.

That would look really nice. The shoulder would look nice too. That's what I am doing. I am going to have a v-shape swirl design below the hand on my lower back. I want the design to cradle the hand. I will be doing the top of my foot in the spring...Can you tell i'm addicted

They look great! What are you thinking about for your foot? I would love to put one on my foot, but that's gonna hurt!!! A friend of mine started a fairy on the top of her foot, but only got the outline done and chickened out on filling it in. It still looks very cool.

Very, very nice. And I am glad you are happy with how they turned our! I would love to get more too, even though the dh can't stand them. I am still thinking of a celtic knot design around my ankle.....but my other shoulder could really use a Pooh Bear, so he could look at his buddy Piglet on the other side, right?? Have you checked out the series Inked on A&E??? Very funny....and lots of ideas for tatoos.

I am hooked on these two new shows about tattoos. One is Miami Ink and the other is other is Ink'd. Oh the drama!! I have a tattoo that I have wanted to add to for years, but these shows are really making me obsess about it. I just need to keep asking around for reputation etc because the guy who did mine moved away.

You do have a tiny waist girl! So did yours on the lower back hurt? Mine hurt big time! I was doing alot of sweating and turning pale. I have two other than that and they didn't hurt nothing like the lower back. I guess I am just a big baby!

Funny tattoo story!
When I got my first tatoo I kinda did it "on the sly" and at the last minute. My BF at the time was not with me. I was with other friends and went to the tattoo parlor just to look around....Well a few hours later I was in the chair! I came home and told my BF what I did and he wanted to kick my a$$! LOL He was sooo pist! Do you know maybe a year or two later (after we broke up and were just friends) the two of us went together so that I could get my second tat and he could get his first!!! He ended up really liking my tattoo once he got used to the idea!
I have wanted a third for YEARS!!! I WILL get it eventually!

I have watched Miami Ink a few times and they are pretty funny. Ami & Nunez are so adorable. I have watched bits and pieces of inked.
My lower back hurt a little, but it was tolerable. I got both tattoos done on the same day, so I think my spine was a bit more sensitive.

I have a rose at the base of my spine and I am going to have it expanded out with some vines and things and possibly a fairy or two, I think.

Oh, btw, a friend of mine had an aztec sunburst put on foot and it looks awesome!

Thank you for the compliment! I'm blushing:* It's funny how you want to expand the tattoo on your spine. That was the first thing I thought I wanted to do as soon as I did my lower back. They ARE addicting!
Was your friends foot tattoo painful? My best friend is getting her foot done in Sept. and she's very nervous about the pain. She has 3 other tattoos elsewhere, so she isn't new to the whole process.

Now you're all scaring me! That is what I wanted...to add to my tattoo, but it would go down on top of my foot. I have a mermaid on the inside of my right leg/ankle. The most painful part was my ankle bone on the inside there, and the achilles tendon...ouch!! Thankfully I had birthed two children and knew how to breath. I was told that women actually tolorate pain much better.
