uneven tricep strength

when doing tricep work lying on the step doing extensions I have noticed that one side is much stronger than the other. I mean I have to go down to the lightest weight just to accommodate the weakness in the one side. And it is not improving. I can use the same amount as Cathe on all other muscles groups except triceps where I have to use almost half. Seems out of proportion. Any tips Cathe?
 
I have the same problem. My left side is much weaker and neither side seems to be very strong. I also have to go way down in weight compared to other body parts.
