uneven thighs

I stopped working out about a year ago due to a very badly sprained ankle. It took months and months to heal and I started up again with light walking, etc. I am now fully recovered (I think) but notice that my right knee (same leg in which I sprained the ankle) will occassionally act up. Also, I have over 1/2" difference in my thighs with my right thigh being larger. I wanted to ask you, Cathe, if there is something special I should be doing to even this difference out. I assume that I had been compensating and using my left leg more when working out. Any suggestions? Thanks. Sandy

Sorry Sandy, I'm not Cathe, but I really would like to read Cathe's opinion on this as well. I wrote about a similiar problem not to long ago - that my left thigh measures larger - and I can feel this the way my jeans fit - also would like to know if there is any way to 'even' out the difference - thanks!

Hi Sandy,

I too would like to hear from Cathe on this. Just 2 weekends ago, I fell down my stairs and badly sprained my left foot. It still hurts when I walk on it!! And I've read that it takes a long time to heal. I want to get back to my regular workout routine but am now scared that I won't be able to??? HELP! Do you still workout?

Thanks,
Sarah
