So, is everyone who's going on the road trip suddenly thinking "oh man, I have to lose XXX lbs before July 15th!?;)

So far today I've been good. After the completely unclean eating weekend I had, I'm trying. But I'm still fighting the PMS monster. So we shall see how the day progresses.
 
only a few more days till I have to stand up to the PMS monster... Any tips?

breakfast: natural yoghurt + fruit 'n fibre
lunch; 2 slices whole grain bread with herb goats cheese
snack; 1 slice whole grain bread with Gouda cheese
dinner: mixed rice with a veggie mix stirfried in a little olive oil

Haven't eaten any fruit (bad bad bad) and totally forgot about my w/o shake.

Didn't loose any weight since my birthday, but all my measurements are down, not much, but down just the same.

my sports nutritionist actually recommended a type of "healthy" cookies I could eat after a tough w/o to load up on good carbs. Maybe I can try to get hooked on those when the PMS monster comes knocking instead of chocolate, chocolate, more chocolate...

That is *exactly* what I'm thinking. I wasn't worried by the trip to Mexico I have planned in June, but the thought of my fellow Cathe-ites seeing this layer of fat bothers me. Go figure.:+

Yep, I am indeed thinking about how much weight I'll need to lose so I look good in the new workout clothes I'll have to buy. :)

So far, I've been pretty good today too. Well, I guess baked Cheetos aren't the best, but I could have had the regular fried ones instead, so when you look at it that, it's not THAT bad...

Shelley, a little chocolate (or a lot - whatever works for you)does wonders for suppressing the PMS monster. :)
 
Dutchie - "healthy" cookies????? Do tell us more! My first thought, of course, was "If it's healthy, it can't possibly taste good", but I am truly curious. Did your sports nutritionist provide you with a recipe you could share with us all? :) Or is this something you have to buy in the stores? Please share!!!
 
Talk about incentive to lose weight!

I thought it was funny that Cathe is planning a pizza party! Attagirl!

So far I passed on deep-fried catfish for lunch and had rice/beans, orzo, and carrots. But I splurged yesterday with some custard so I'm paying the piper today.

Oh yes, that is funny... Am I the only one who will find extreme satisfaction in seeing Cathe eat fatty, cheesey pizza? }( hee hee...
 
Well I am stuck outside for most of the day so any temptations are yet to be found...that is good! So far...

Kashi cereal mixed with a granola crunch
2 yogurts mixed with black berries, walnuts and trail mix! YUM
Half turkey sandwich on lite wheat
Lots of Propel and H20
