I was hoping I wouldn't be the one starting this thread today but oh well. I imagine I will be here a lot today. I baked a cake for my oldest sons b-day and I just had to lick the bowl. He wants a white cake with chocolate icing. So I will be having that later along with some ice cream at his party. Oh and we are having homemade pizza for supper. Birthday boy gets to choose. I might have to workout all day tomorrow!! LOL!!:D

Oh Gawd! I am trying hard to be good but lately I am famished and craving BAD foods. So far I have not caved but I feel like I could at anytime!!! So people post here so I can live through my cravings by reading what you ate. Maybe I need Charlotte to slap me around a bit! SHe is always so good it seems.

I ate two cookies. I'm giving them up entirely for the month of June so I'm getting in as many as I can before then:p

Hi Shelley! I wondered if you were still eating cookies and if I would see you here. No cookies for a month? Are you insane? Just kidding! I couldn't do it. I have to have a couple now and then. Can you say addicted?! HA HA!:D

Oh blahhhh........ I WAS eating really good today. Oatmeal for breakfast, lots of water with my workout, a protein bar after w/o, and noon meal was a turkey steak, sweet potato and green beans, & unsweetened iced tea. THEN I baked a german chocolate cake...........when it was still warm I cut and ate a piece!!
It was REALLY great, but I did NOT plan to eat it. It just called to me....................
I'm trying to make myself feel better, by reminding myself I did not use any oil and used applesauce instead, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Of course , I'm sure I don't want a list of ingredients for the (canned) frosting!!!!
Back to eating good for the rest of the day........I HOPE!!!!!!
If not, I'll be working out all day tomorrow too!!!
;-)

Hmmm...I had some sun chips. Nice n' healthy - HA! Just balance everything you eat with a glass of water or diet soda. It all cancels out, right?

Recipe, please, Lois? Now, let's clarify here. My SO tells me that biscotti are NOT cookies;) Any opinions? And I don't need anyone to remind me that biscotto is actually Italian for cookie.:p

Main Entry: biscotti
Definition: a long dry cookie or biscuit of Italian origin, flavored with anise, almonds, etc.
Etymology: 1595-1600; < It biscotto
Usage: cooking

We will go with the "biscuit" definition in this case. ;-)

And just in case anyone is curious, a calzone, is not pizza!!! }(

cal·zo·ne ( P ) Pronunciation Key (käl-sn, kl-zn, -zn)
n.
A baked or fried Italian turnover of pizza dough filled with vegetables, meat, or cheese.

Becky - I think there's something in the Female Rule Book that says you CANNOT under any circumstances turn down fresh, warm, homemade german chocolate cake. It's a good thing you ate a piece or your Female Card could have been revoked!!! ;-)

Angie

Angie,

I sure wouldn't want that to happen, so I guess I'm lucky I ate the cake after all! And now I know the rules......so warm german chocolate cake isn't safe around me anymore!!!!

What's the rule on ice cream???

Should I post the recipe here or how should I do it?
