Workout Blender Problems
I understand that it can be frustrating, but you have to realize with a complex editing software application it can take months and years to solve problems - not days. This is especially true because there are thousands of different types of computers, operating systems, system updates that may or may not have been done by the user, hardware devices, etc; all that make it very difficult to make a product like the WB work for everyone. And not to mention the fact that video codecs and devices are changing and improving constantly.
The technology in the WB is also cutting edge software and constantly evolving and this makes it very difficult to write code for a moving target. We learned early on the hard way to be patient and not to get too far ahead of the technology curve in developing our software.
As Curtis mentioned before, the 64 bit libraries that we have been waiting nearly a year for were just released a few weeks ago. It will take some time for developers to include these libraries into the WB and thoroughly test them, but at least now we can proceed forward. But understand this may or may not solve your issue. The problem you're having may also be caused by some hidden files from an older version of the WB that were supposed to have been deleted or you may also have a first generation dual processor Mac that has a known hardware issue with the ffmpeg engine in the WB. But at least once the 64 bit version is released it will solve several current problems.
I do understand that your anxious to use the WB, but we have a long way to go before this product is stable and out of beta. We're the only company I know of in the fitness industry that is spending the time and money to develop a product like this and we're not charging anyone so much as a dime. In the meantime you can still enjoy our downloads and with our detailed chaptering you can easily select any chapter you want to do.You may also want to try the WB on another type of computer.
