Horrible episodes...they end the seaons on such a depressing note all the time.
Since Matt saw Betty kiss Henry, he was hurt, but kept prompting her to tell him in a discreet fashion (e.g., so, did you see Henry anymore, blah, blah, blah).
Betty's instinct tells her to just fess up but stupid Hilda talks her out of it. Matt is so upset, he breaks up with her, but decides to get serious about his life and accepts a position at Mode that his father offered him - he is now her boss.
Daniel and Willie flip a coin to figure out who gets the editor position and it is Betty - Mark is still an assistant.
Willie plots to steal Daniel's acceptance speech (the one his wife wrote) - her plan is to have him look like an idiot when he can't find his speech cards and then she will swoop in and give the acceptance speech at the MAMA awards (which they win for the bridal issue). He falters a bit upon not finding the cards and then sees Molly walk in and gives an great speech sans cards - as soon as she walked in, I figured it was a "spirit" and she was dead (i was right....originally, Molly's plan is to nap due to chemo induced fever and then meet Daniel in time to see him accept the award - she never makes it). Daniel arrives home to see them taking her out in a body bag. He calls Betty for support.
the nephew doesn't get into Lafayette H.S.
Claire Meade didn't really abort her baby with Matt's father - she gave it up for adoption and burns the adoption papers at the end of the episode - so the question is - who is the kid?
Willie hires a private eye to find her old deadbeat Australian lover to get the stolen Meade $$$ back so she can take over the company, since she is being forced out by Matt's dad and Mrs. Meade.
That about covers it....on another, but related note, I still can't believe they shut down 6 city blocks in my area for over 12 hours for what amounted to 5 secs of footage - the scene where she gives Matt an invite to the MAMA awards outside of his art school is around the corner from me.
