UGH! I can't take this much longer!

I've been on the phone w/Dooney & Bourke trying to get a credit for the $365 bag I bought that started falling apart 3 days after I bought it. I've been on the phone for 20 minutes & I've spoken w/2 people for a total of 60 seconds.

So they refused to send me a replacement before UPS picked up the damaged bag. They told me they'd sent it out as soon as UPS picked it up. Then they sent the UPS tag out to the wrong address. At this point I'm so annoyed I tell them I just want a freakin credit. They said they'd issue a credit as soon as UPS picked it up. UPS just picked it up & now they're telling me they won't issue a credit until it actually arrives.

To add insult to injury they've kept me on hold all this time.

Lesson learned: never buy from Dooney & Bourke!

Laura, sorry for your pain, but I must say, a $365 bag sounds dreamy. :) Did you buy direct from them or did you go through a department store? I'm on a Coach kick at the moment and was thinking about buying my dream bag online, but I'm wondering if that's a good idea...

Anyway, hope it works out for you.

Hi Marie. Just browsing the forum and the word COACH caught my eye. I have been on a Coach kick for years now so I guess I really shouldn't consider it a "kick" any longer! I just wanted to let you know that I have ordered several Coach bags from coach.com and have had no problems at all.

Happy shopping!

I ordered it right off their website--the bolero bag in black & brown. I really love the bag, but the customer service has been HORRIBLE, unlike Coach who's customer service is awesome. I guess I'll stick w/them from now on. They didn't have any styles that really spoke to me this year, except that metallic hobo, & my limit for a handbag is $400.

Same thing for shoes. ;)
