Two Brothers (the movie)

Maximus's post got me thinking about sharing my thoughts on this movie with you. Have you guys seen this movie? It is a Universal production and it is about two tigers thast are separated as cubs. I think that it is a kid's movie but not certain. My god, this movie let me with a pit in my stomach! One of the tigers was abused (badly, in my opinion), there were violent undertones all over the place, etc. I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't seen it but there were a few things that happened that I was shocked over!

Both BF & I usually don't care about that stuff but at the end of this movie, we both looked at each other like "I don't think I liked that too much." I later heard him telling a buddy about it and saying that he couldn't believe the gut feeling that it left him with.

Anyone else see this and feel that way? Seems like an odd feeling for a kid's movie.

Watch Hotel Rwanda for a gut wrenching feeling. You might not like that too much either but I recommend it because, unlike Two Brothers, it's a true story. For some reason the genocide that was occurring wasn't reported on much when it happened.

I saw Two Brothers a couple of weeks ago. That was very sad. The movie "The Bear" by the makers of two brothers is even worse. It was about bears being hunted. It was very disturbing

yeah, I rented this movie for my son, he loved it and didn't understand what was happening to the poor Tigers. For myself and dh there were parts of the movie that we just couldn't even watch because of the way they were hunting the Tiger cubs parents and the abuse that the poor things went through. Thank goodness that people are becoming more aware of this kind of thing and we are trying to do something about it. I believe that it took place in the early 20th century. I did however like the extras afterwards educating people about Tigers.
