Turnaround time w/ Polar USA?

I sent my HRM to Polar for a battery replacement over a week ago and am still waiting for either a communication from them or my HRM in the mail. Is this the normal time frame? Anyone else sent their HRM for repairs/replacements?

I sent mine in for a battery replacement a month or so ago and it took just under two weeks to get it back. I was expecting it to take longer than that. It came back in a package that said "creative health products," not Polar USA (and that was also what it said on my credit card statement).

I actually received my HRM in the mail a day or two after I posted--of course:)

It turns out my battery wasn't the problem, the wrist unit just died a premature death. They replaced it with absolutely no trouble and no charge for anything (it is under warranty).

BTW, I sent it in for battary replacement because my manual said that was the only way to keep the warranty valid. It's pretty new, I only got it this Christmas. Their website had the same info, so I didn't question it. Mine's the RS200, maybe it's different?

I had to send mine in for a battery replace because I was unable to get the back off. I took it to a jeweler who had special equipment and he couldn't get the back off either.
