Turbo Jams - Delux

WantFit

Cathlete
I just received my Turbo Jams package today as my X'mas gifts. I could not wait to try it out. However, it was regular package. My question to those of you who are Turbo Jams experts: Is it worth to exchange my package to Delux one? What are your opinions of those two dvds in Delux package that I am missing now? Are they essential to have?

Thanks

You could just purchase the upgrade package on the beachbody site.

I didn't purchase the deluxe package. I bought the regular package and liked it so much that I purchased cardio party 2. After I used the discounts, it came out to something like $14. You can't do this now on the bb site though. I didn't feel I needed the lower body workout cause I have so many other lower body workouts. There not essential, just nice to have.

I'd wait for the next batch of new workouts that are supposed to be more like an authentic turbo kick class.

Thanks for your reply. How big difference between Cardio Party and Cardio Party 2? You mentioned that there would be a new workouts coming out. Do you know the time line?

BTW, do you know how many minutes for Learn & Burn?

Thanks

I was on the phone with Beachbody today and found out that 2 new Turbo Jam dvds are available now: Cardio Party Remix and Booty Sculpt & Abs (I'm not sure of the exact title of this one). The price for both dvds was $29.90 and I was able to use the 20% off repeat customer discount. I don't know the details of the workouts but ordered them anyway since I love TJ. I haven't see the dvds on the BB website yet.

BTW, I love both Cardio Party dvds. I like CP#1 a little more than #2.

Are you kiddin me? Why is this such a secret? They barely air the infomercial and now new workouts that no one know is released. Yet when Tony's stuff comes out it's all over the bb web page.

Thanks for the info Michelle. Please report back on how the new workouts are.

Michelle,

I love Turbo Jam, too. But the beachbody website is terrible IMHO- when things are new and available it takes them forever to get it on the website. So, if I call them will I be able to order the two new dvd's?

I love both Cardio Party dvd's too - I often wonder which one I like more and I think I am leaning toward Cardio Party 1 also. There are a couple segments in each workout that I like better than others and some of them just grow on me.

I find Turbo Jam a fun way to do core work without having to just do ab work lying down. I can't wait to try her new workouts!

Cheryl,

I was able to order them over the phone with Beachbody. However, I posted about this over at the Video Fitness forum too and it sounds like it depends on who you talk to at BB. Some reps say it's not available, another said the dvds will not ship for a few weeks, and someone else said that to expect the dvds in 7-10 days. The person I spoke to at Beachbody did not mention anything about a delay in shipping. I can't believe the stories I hear about Beachbody. I've never really had any problems ordering from them myself.

I agree that Turbo Jam is a fun way to do core work. I've actually noticed that my balance is improving from doing the Turbo Jam workouts the past several weeks.

Well - I just ordered the DVD's and this time it was a painful process - I had someone that couldn't speak English very well. That is SOOOO frustrating when you are trying to give them information and addresses.

She had to keep searching for the DVD's - she couldn't find them easily - but when I gave her one of the titles, and after being on hold forever - she found them. She quoted me $39.90 though... And I mentioned the $29.90 mentioned here. I ended up with the 39.90 less the 20% which she rounded to $30. So I am going to keep checking on the pricing issue to see what is correct.

Anyways.... they are ordered... I look forward to checking them out...

Anne,

I also tried to order the new DVD's by phone from Beachbody! What a joke. We must have had the same person. This woman's English was horrible! I couldn't understand her at all. I finally told her just that. She had me on hold numerous times and each time she came back on the line - she would say she had some DVD that I already had!

I explained to her that these were the new ones and even gave her the names of them and she still couldn't get it right. Plus, when I first called and gave her my name and zipcode - she thought I was a new customer and couldn't find me in the computer.

Here I have ordered P90X, plus the deluxe Turbo Jam. Just in the last month I ordered the 4 new P90 Masters DVD's. plus the Yoga Booty Ballet ( I got 2 separate orders of this one).

I got so frustrated with it all, I just told the woman to forget it. I don't see why they can't get it together on their website that would make it much easier. I really wanted to order them, but after 20 minutes on the phone and getting nowhere, I figured it wasn't worth the time.

Oh well, I will try again after Christmas. I hope I have better luck!

Cheryl

I have figured out that you can pretty much tell THEM what you want to pay for them.

When I ordered the P90X master's series they quoted me a price and I told them that I "heard" you can get them for half that price. She said well I can give you one for half price. I said again "I heard you could get ALL of them for half price". She paused and said "Okay...I can do that". I thought...what is the deal...next time I'm going to say "I heard you can get that DVD for $5.00".

Okay...I was just curious if that would work." :) :) :) :)
