Turbo Jam

I won Punch, Kick and Jam from ebay and really like it. Reading many of the Turbo Jam comments on this site encouraged me to get this one because it was less dancy and more athletic. Can you recommend other Turbo Jams that may be in the less dancy category.

Thanks in advance! :)

I really like the Cardio Parties! Cardio Party 3 is really good! My second favorite would be 2, then 1. However, they're so close in my mind, it's hard to rank them!

I just got mine in today's mail I won on Ebay as well. I just received a collage catalog I circled a bunch.

What I like about the TJ Cardio Parties is that you can make them dancy or not. For example, in CP3, there's a part where you can throw your hands up in the air (cause it matches the lyrics of the song that's playing during that combo). You can do it or not, it's up to you. The same whenever Chalene shimmies or grooves. You can do it or not. In the warm up she gives you, like, 15 seconds to 'bust a move'. Sometimes I bust, sometimes I just do some high knees, depending on my mood. I would say that in each of the Cardio Party workouts, over 90% of the time is spent doing kicking and punching combos that don't have any dancy stuff going on.

HTH!

Candi -

I think the Turbo Jams got a rap somewhere for being really dancey - and they are not what I would consider dancey. Yes you shake you mid section here and there - but they are all real easy to keep without any of that as well. Personally I really like it - it helps get me into the workout even more and heck - the shakin works the core too!

I do really like Punch, Kick and Jam - and I know she says it is less dancey - but it really is not that much different from the rest of her workouts.

Fat Blaster is not dancey at all - it is just 4 turbos in a row and the half hour flies by. You learn a turbo at a lower impact, then go for it all out on the turbo and repeat with the next, but different, turbo combo.

The 20 minute workout is great as well. It is a perfect add on to days where you are just doing weights or want to add a bit more cardio. It is quick and a lot of fun!

And you just cant beat the music - she does a great job putting it together! I hope you continue to enjoy them as I do!

Well, Anne, you should know that I purchased the Punch, Kick and Jam because of your postive comments. I'm very glad that I did because it's a great workout. The other day I decided to do it twice for a longer cardio session and all I can say is WOW!

I believe I'm hooked but I wasn't quite sure of how "dancey" the others were.

Thanks for your help. I'm planning on purchasing more of them soon :7
