Someone of the video fitness reader forum have been working with Amber Otto on another problem and asked about more TJ workouts. She thought 2 more (Cardio Jam 2 and Lower Body Jam) were already created and thought they might be offered as a deluxe pkg but couldn't say for sure. So if not at the time of the initial pkg, maybe not a long wait.
I have seen this Chalene Jhonson's aclaration about the intensity of TJ in the turbofanatics yahoo group and video fitness reader forum:
The initial offering does include a "Learn and Burn" program, which some might find easier to follow than a class offered at a fitness club where they have been doing Turbo for many years. However, even the most basic of our offerings, the Learn and Burn can be and was a super intense cardio workout, it's just a bit easier to follow than some of our more (from a choreography standpoint) advanced routines.
The other offerings in the initial package are equally and perhaps more intense, yet easy to follow. I will say that I left out some of the extra fluffy choreography that an advanced instructor might be used to seeing in a Turbo Kick routine, but all of the intensity and 90% of the most advanced moves are in there too! Each workout I create I add a new move or a new layer that the exercise has never done before or hasn't done in a long time. This shocks the body, keeps things fresh and helps people to keep moving toward a better and better body! For that reason, I had to hold a few of those moves back when creating the first of our series, and each new video will introduce more moves. However, from an intensity standpoint... it's all there!!!!
Trust me, there is no "sugar coating" or watering down of the intensity of these programs. In fact, when I went to BB I explained that it was important to me personally as a personal trainer and fitness instructor that we be
honest with consumers about what it takes to get in incredible shape!
So to answer your original question...
I gave a lot of thought to planning each workout in the Turbo Jam initial offering so that the beginner could easily follow along and modify their intensity and so that the most advance fit athlete would be incredibly
challenged by the intensity and available levels of this workout. No one will feel left behind. I've spent 8 years testing, researching, changing, molding and perfecting the Turbo model so that it adapts for people who are 100 pounds over weight or those who are extremely fit. TJ does this exactly the way that Turbo Kick does this and perhaps even better by offering the Learn and Burn. Actually the initial offering is even better than a class because it includes the Learn and Burn. The learn and burn teaches the terminology, the reasoning behind why we do things a certain way and the subtleties of form that might otherwise take months worth of taking classes to finally realize. So for that reason TJ will be a better fit for someone new to exercise, but beyond the Learn and Burn it's the same intensity someone would expect from the Turbo Kick workout at a health club!
I can't wait! I hope you love the program!
