Turbo Jam- Confused about Packages

I've viewed the clips of Turbo Jam on Youtube, and decided the workouts might be something I'd enjoy. (I'm a bit shocked that people would actually post videos of themselves doing a workout, but whatever...) Now, my problem is which set to get?

I've read through ALL the thread/posts on Turbo Jam and here's what I've gathered:

Total Body Blast and Kickin' Core from the "Get on the Ball" package are both great workouts.

Punch, Kick, and Jam, Ab Jam, and the Cardio Party from the "Maximum Results" package.

Cardio Party Remix from the "Live" package.

Fat Blaster, Cardio Party Mix, and Cardio Party Mix 2 (some people also stated that they like the "Lower Body Jam") from the "Fat Burning Elite" package.

BUT, then people wrote that they think the "Maximum Results" package is more advanced than the others.

So... I'm really confused now. Which package/set is the best deal and would be the most fun, challenging workout? I like the dance-type moves, so that won't bother me. (Although the girl who winks at her muscles in one of the videos might freak me out a bit!)

Thanks so much!

I recently purchased Maximum results, Elite fat burning, and Cardio party live(on amazon).

If I could choose only one, I would choose Maximum results.
I love all the Cardio party mixes. They all have an upbeat fun factor.
I personally would not rate Maximums results more advanced than the others. They are pretty much the same with just a few different moves, and music.

IMO, I would begin with Maximum results and when you can purchase the Elite package for additional party mixes. Cardio Party Live is good- not great. I reach for the first and third party mix the most. HTH!

So bascially there will be workouts in each of the packages that I prob. won't do?

Did you purchase the workouts as a package from Amazon, or did you purchase them indiv.? I thought of going that way, but it would be about the same price.

Thanks for your input!!

I purchased mine through BB. I priced them individually @ Amazon, but there was no savings. The popular cardio mixes sell anywhere from $20-$30 + shipping.

I purchased TJ for cardio only. I wasn't interested in the toning dvd's. I haven't viewed Turbo sculpt or Ab Jam, so I can't comment. I know Ab jam is a favorite for a few women on this board.

I think your plan to get TJ for cardio only is a good one. If you're a Catheite you'll find Chalene's TJ weight work pretty light--literally. I adore all her cardio workouts except the Live Remix one; not sure why but it's just not a fave. I do like Fat Blaster a lot because of the intervals. If you decide to order from Beachbody, you can go through one of their coaches (there are a few in Cathe-land) who can help too. Good luck! BTW, Chalene's forthcoming Chalean Extreme sounds pretty interesting too. I think it's supposed to come out in August?? HTH!

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.
