Hi everyone--
I'm going to try and sneak this in while they are all quiet and happily eating cereal provided by grandma--a kind I do not buy--too sugary and expensive. I had some and now I feel sick. I usually have eggs for breakfast--the protien suits me better.
+++++
Susan--but 2 lbs is an improvement--I remember you posting a couple weeks ago that you couldn't do any weight with your triceps--so don't be to hard on yourself--it will come. I'm supposed to have a mammogram, now that I'm 40. I'm dreading it.
Kate--LOL on the having to have everything "perfect" before the baby comes. This is how I'm feeling about next year's school. I want every science supply bought and organized in advance, I want every manipulative made, I want every thing photocopied and filed--all for the entire year! And the list goes on. I usually get a head start over the summer, but this year I'm determined to get the whole year done in advance. I'm like a mad woman and I know that my plan will crumble somewhat under reality.
JenM--We were surprised by the first 4 and then the pressure from my kids and mil became too intense and we've found out for the last 3. I really like not knowing. After the difficulties of labor, when the baby is out, to ask "boy or girl" and find out then is really special. I miss that.
Stephanie--I was the mom from hell for the first 6 months of pregnancy. I feel a bit more mellow now (although on Sunday night I lost it over the neighbor's bass--they did stop before bedtime, but still....) Hormones--aren't they fun?
Kristan--I hope you have AC at home to keep cool. Those temps sound hellish. It's supposed to be in the 90's today and I'm planning on turning on our ancient air conditioner that I try rarely to use. Congrats on the go ahead to workout to your fullest!
Melanie--I'm alway's glad to have you post. Congrats on the job, but sorry about the pay. I hope the bonus pay works out from your former employer. (((hugs))) and prayers.
Jen--don't worry--he will poop in the potty soon enough. You won't have to send him off to college with a package of diapers
. (that's what I always told myself, anyway). Just to put it in perspective a bit: our child with downs still poops his pants at night and he's almost 7--90%potty trained, but I have no idea how long the last 10% will take. Your son will get it before he's 4 and it will be ancient news by the time he's 7.
Anne--It sounds hot where you are too. I'm praying that those temps spike!
Candra--my dh is an electrician--not self employed though. He works for a wonderful company and has a fantastic boss. We feel so blessed. I hope your son's chin is healing up well.
Mikki--It's hot where you are too. I hope you survive the tropical storm okay. Rain in any form sounds wonderful to me....but I've never been through a tropical storm or hurricane or monsoon or anything scary like that.
Hi Lisa! Hi Morris! Hi Danielle! Hi Trish!
