TTC, w/out when ovulating???

Hello Ladies, I've been TTC for about 1.5 yrs now and my schedules are finally regular. I've been charting temps and using ovu tests which showed that I ovulated in the last few days.

My question is...how much exercise should I do? I'm doing CTX right now and I made sure I wasn't jumping around too much. I don't want to jinx anything, but I also don't want to worry myself silly.

Any advice on what I should do in the week(s) after ovulation?

THANKS!

Jeanette

My understanding is that unless you are "athlete level" in terms of your working out, you do not need to make any adjustments. On occasion, women that are mega-fit may need to adjust down, but that is more of a tool to get their cycles regular, rather than actually trying to conceive.

Jumping around isn't going to decrease your chances of the "little guys" making to home base...if you will. :)

Good luck!

We had to try for a long time with my 3rd child. The month I finally got prenant I did NO exercis of any kind from the time I O'd until I tested. I don't know if there was a connection but it worked for me. With how long you've been trying I'd do something very light for a couple of months and see how it goes!

I'm at the point where I just keep doing what I do with my workouts throughout. I did that with my other 3 pgs and managed to get pg so I think it should be okay if you keep working out. Unless if it makes you really worry and uncomfortable, you can always just go low impact instead of stopping altogether. HTH.

I just found out 3 wks ago that I'm pregnant. I was charting for over a year and taking OPKs too! The cycle i conceived I was on clomid (3rd round) because I don't ovulate but i also didn't exercise from ovulation till i tested just like the previous poster. There is no way to know if it was the third round of clomid that finally did it or just relaxing and not worrying about exercising but i wanted to give you my story. :)
