Hello everybody! Happy Dads Day!

Lorren, that's great that you labor at home! Maybe for my 4th..... Who cleans up for you though? I'm too energetic afterwards to sleep too. Tho, I have never been in labor for long or thru the night - I'm sure that would make a difference.

Some of you may remember that my Size 0 SIL is due 5 days after me. Well, haha, she's bigger than me. All over. Not that I'm happy about it in mean way but it is nice not looking like a moose next to her!

Gotta go prep some dads day stuff. Have a wonderful morning!

Good morning!

Kate~glad your sil is bigger! I can totally relate. My sister was always very very tiny.. like 100lbs.. well we were due a week apart when I had my first and she ened up way way bigger than me. It was nice to not be the bigger one for once. :)

Well today we might go swimming.. not sure 100% We had bad storms come through so I need to call the in laws to see what the water temp is. I am a big baby and don't like it to be too cold. All last week it was 86 or so and that felt great.

What is everyone doing today?

Good morning. Boy, am I exhausted already. I just dread having to get up so early tomorrow. My goal, today, is not to think of tomorrow!!!!!

I totally know what you guys are saying about the size thing. We had a family reunion 3 years ago & I got to met my SIL for the first time. We were both pg, me with my 3rd, her with my 1st. I was so nervious that I was going to be so much bigger than her!!! Well, SHE was huge!!!! I was so happy (not in a mean way). Right of the bat I thought we could get along just fine. ;)

Today we have church, then hang out at home and do whatever DH watnts to do. :) I'm hoping I'll have enough energy to do my new step workout. (Goal 2 for the day).

My little boys have been incredibly clingy to me. They won't even let me out of their site. Which is just fine with me. :D

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Yesterday was really busy--2 social events+working out+all the normal stuff I have to do. I'm going to take it more easy today. I have nothing except an ob appointment next week, so I can continue to focus on the house.

My workouts this week:
SH Back/chest
1 hour creeping walk on a slight incline on treadmill
SH shoulders+cleaning frenzy
body fusion with leg work substituted for othe weight work
Sh biceps and triceps

My back is feeling better...

Morris--Where are you? Recovering, I'm sure, but we'd all love an update when you are up to it. I hope you are feeling well and not overwhelmed. I thought that going from 1 to 2 children was the most difficult transition. (((hugs)))

Kate--I'd feel a little bit good too, if I had a really tiny SIL and she got bigger than me. (and it would be hard to get bigger than me). The hypnobirthing sounds really cool. I can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

Trish--my beef/barley soup didn't turn out as well this time as it sometimes does--I tend to make soups without recipes--so, sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss.

Mikkia--no home deliveries here--a lot of women at our church have done it, but my dh says no way. If our 4th child had been born at home, his health really could have been severely comprimised+dh wants to just come home and get his rest. Going to the hospital and getting waited on is kind of like a mini-vacation for me:p , but I think a home birth would save a boat-load of money.

Melanie--working out also helped my nausea--if nothing else, my mind was off it for an hour--are you still off work? Your muffin "bread" is really a hit at our house. The little ones call it "cake".

Hi Lorren--congrats on the successful home birth:)

Lisa--it's so nice when the baby is more active. Hope you found some cute maternity tops! Wearing cute stuff whilst pregnant really helps my state of mind.

Hi Kristan! Hi Anne! Hi Alicia! Hi Candra! Hi Stephanie!Hi Susan! Hi Jen!

And if I missed anyone it was totally unintentional--I plead pregnant brain.

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

No at home births for this momma. I love my drugs!!!! Oh, and I have c/s b/c my platelets get really low when I'm pg.
I forgot to posts my w/outs:

Sun: Run
Mon: off
Tue: Tracey's Strikezone
Wed: Run
Thurs: Kelly's step kickbox 1
Fri: Step Kickbox 2
Sat: Run/Walk

I don't seem to be doing much of Cathe lately. I will be eager to jump on her next cardio project, but I don't think that'll be for a while. For now I'm finding others that I enjoy. I adore Amy Bento, and Kelly's nice for a change. :)

I"m glad everyone enjoyed the muffins. :)

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Good Morning! DH is on call so don't have any Fathers Day plans. Pool party last night was fun, but when we got back I got sick. I threw up a few times. I couldn't tell if it was normal pregnancy nausea or if I had eaten something bad. I can't seem to win with my stomach. Today is another day. I have been watching Transformers with ds since dawn and dd is still sleeping!
Kate-Have a good fathers day celebration and I think its great your size 00 sil has you beat in the girth department!
Melanie-I am looking forward to Cathe's next cardio too. The IMAXS are the best.
Maggie-You have so much going on in your life. You must be busy!
Trish-swimming sounds good today, hope you can go.

I am going to try KPC this am if I don't get sick again. Last 2 pregnancies I had to go in for IV fluids for dehydration due to my overall too sensitive to progesterone and HCG stomach. So I have to be careful. Though I guess since DH is on call I have a in....:)

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Hello Kate, Trish, Melanie, Maggie and everyone to follow.
Today is going to be HOT near 95 so we will be spending the day in the pool. DH is smoking a pork shoulder and a brisket for supper. I am not a beef eater though..ick!
I am finally feeling a little better. Bleeding is just back to spotting with a cramp here and there, so I am on the mend. I wanted to start out easy so I did push/pull yesterday and today I did the step premix only of IMAX3 and added on some abs.

Melanie my dh has ordered 2 doz muffins for him to take to work tomorrow. They are a big hit! I have a question. You are the resident pharmacist, right? Why with some medications must you be able to sit or stand for 30 min? I have been wondering that. Enjoy your day and your kids!!!!

My dh's sisters are all overweight. When I was preg with dd they were always commenting on how thin I was..and it was like they were upset that I didnt get fat. I loved it though!

Have a great day everyone.
Susan

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Hi Mikkia, so I missed you there. I hope you are feeling better!
I love the IMAX's too. I just hate step with endless ad-on's. Imax is quick and gets the job done.

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

I couldn't agree more susan. when ever I just can't get it together to work out I just pop in IMAX 2 and 50 min later the job is done. I need a new IMAX, because I have memorized the others!

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Mikkia me too! Hopefully that is on the Cathe to do list! Do you have Low Max? I do like it, but even it has the add on dread factor for me.

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

I have Hardcore Extreme, and on one of the workouts she uses Imax 3 and low max combined. Then at the end she has the blasts from KickMax. So when I have a lower exergy day I do that one, but leave off the kickmax blast(which I hate). It's about a 50-55 workout that way. I hate the add ons too. Lowmax I think will be my next purchase.

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Low Max starts out seeming really easy, but it really does burn your legs. I use a medicine ball for the blasts and that really adds intesity.

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Mikkia, I'm sorry your tummy has been so woozy. :( Hang in there, 2nd trimester will hit us before we know it...and I"m hoping my energy is waiting for me there! Have you ever tried Zofran or any anti-nausea meds during your pgs? How about the Vit B3 + doxylamine combination? Antinausea bands? I'm sure you've tried it all...

Susan, I am a full pharmacist; although, I'm working resident hours! Ha ha. The lying down is usually do to stomach irritation. With some medications you can actually hurt your esophagus, but normally it's GI irritation and upset. Drinking lots and lots of water with these medications helps too.

DH & I spoke about our other house. We're going to make 1 more month try and see what happens. If we don't get any good offers, we're all set to stop payments on it. Our last "low ball" offer was the first we've had on our lake home. :( We're not super people, and we just can't go on working so much,...there's not light at the end of the tunnel,...the house market crisis is not letting up. I'll see about talking to a real estate attorney too. As of right now we are current on our payments, most programs are to help accounts that are past due. Anyways, thanks for listening. ;)

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

Happy Sunday ladies! Hope you are having a nice Father's Day with your families.

Melanie - I think finding alternatives with your house is a good idea. I know a lot of people just let it go into foreclosure because it just makes more sense esp. in this economy. Good luck with it.

Kate - Hee, hee, hee I would totally be gloating about the SIL being bigger thing. As evil as it sounds, I'm just being totally honest. I remember when I was pg with my first, there were 7 of us from church that were all pg and couple were these "I don't have to excercise, I'm just naturally skinny" girls and they got huge. Evil me! And I also loved that my belly shrank a lot faster after birth and the "skinny" girls still looked 9 mos pg. Don't get me wrong, I think all women are made different, but when you hear people say stuff like, "I know I should excercise, but I've always been skinny and never have to worry about my weight" you're like oooookay. I am a firm believer in excercising for health and not size. I love seeing women who are not "thin" according to some standards that kick girls butts in working out who "look" in shape. Okay, off my rant.

Mikkia - I had to take a trip to the ER for IV fluids with this pg and they gave me Zofran which I hesitated to take in the beginning, but it made a big difference for me. I didn't take it too much, but on those really bad days, it did help me sleep at night.

Maggie - I have to get focusing on my house as well. I've been putting if off, but no more. We're having house guests on the 4th of July weekend so we're really hoping to get the flooring in before then.

Susan - I'm glad you're on the mend.

Trish - We're planning on hitting the pool today also. I'm hoping the weather stays nice. It rained a bit the last couple days, but it was mostly sunny so I hope it stays sunny.

Hi everyone else!!!

So my workouts last week were:
4DS KB cardio only/MM push/pull premix
C&W stepcardio premix
GS Legs
Pilates for Upper Body/Core

I had to really think there, I couldn't remember what I did last week! Anyway, hoping to get some chores done today. I'm up early so might as well make the most of it. DD got promoted in ballet yesterday to the next class. I'm so proud of her! She's the youngest one in her new class, but the teacher felt really strongly about her moving up so I agreed and dd is really excited! Anyway, better get my day going. Have a good one everybody!!

Lisa

The midwives do all the cleanup-which is very nice! then your dh can focus more on what you need.:)
are you planning on 4 kids? i just had my 3rd and i really dont have the feeling like i want to be done having kids-i thought mabe i would after 3 but so far i havent.

Lisa, congrats to your little DD! Yahoo! I remember when DS1 was the littlest to pass thru First Cross swimming lessons. I was so proud, he looked so teeny! Ahhhhhh ballet classes, just can't see this mom of all boys going to ballet!!!

Give the baby fever a few more months, although I remember wanting more with each pg. This one has been hard to accept with all our circumstances right now, I don't "feel" like number 5 and I"m in advanced years (DH will be 45 this year). Tell us about your new baby.

Hi. We hosted brunch this morning and the family just left. It was very nice. I am shocked by the amount of food we consume. The cousins who were "little kids" just a few years ago are now teenagers that eat A LOT of food.

I hope Anne is above water. She lives in Iowa, right? We live along the MIssissippi River, but way up high on a hill. Our city flood walls are up; it's really weird to see.

Kids are going to the circus today with their grandparents. I think I am going to stay here and scrub baseboards then maybe head to the pool by myself.

I got in 4 workouts last week:

monday: gym cardio and prenatal pilates
tues: Bento APX strength (about an hour- the stuff off the Hi Lo X DVD)
thurs: gym cardio plus prenatal pilates
sat: low max step only with blasts 2, 5

With me nearing the end, I am hoping to get in "double cardio" off the 4ds video and the strength training off 4ds as well. Beyond that, it's swimming and elliptical for me.

My husband has an extremely stressful/busy week which requires me to be level headed, supportive and independent (not emotions I am feeling right now). I'll bbl.

All this circus and pool talk,....we're only 53 degrees here today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
