Morning All! I just havea quick second but thought I'd get us started. We have Gina's family birthday party today a couple hours after church so lots to do this morning. I hope I stay feeling okay!

Have a Super Sunday!

good morning everyone

so glad everyone seems to be a bit better.

kristan, hope you avoid all illness! i am going to try the all body attack from net flix i think.

kate, i hope you do continue to feel good today. as i finished my 1st trimester, i'd have a good day then bad, then 2 good, then bad, etc until all good. mostly;) 3 lbs is amazing! i gained a lot first trimester, not much since, same with ds number 1.

hi lisa, glad the lip is better. hope you start to feel bettter soon. how is the weather there?

hi jen - awsome workouts. definately shrug off the weight comments if possible. i know how hard it is! i use champion sports bras but i need some new ones as i am having some chafing issues. my boobs did not hurt with this pregnancy like with the first, but they are huge now!

hi anne, how are you?

hi maggie - hope your body appreciated the rest week.

mel, any news on the house?

i went for a long run this am and am hoping to start gym styles today for a 3 week rotation of them. i also am getting close to thinking about ordering sts. who else did or wants to? i think kate and maggie did? bbl

Hi ladies. Just lurking (and saw my name)--thanks for thinking about me. No news on the house, slooooowwwwww market. Noone's even looking. We'll have to go down there next month and clean/rake/do the Spring cleaning thing,--which is going to be hard to do when we want to do all those things at our new house. DH & I were talkiing, and maybe we'll take the family and try to "relax" at the house. We are making two mortgages, so we might as well enjoy it a little, right? Anyway, I have felt strongly last several months to pray for everyone I know who has a house on the market that THEIR house would sell (to keep from getting selfish). Good news, the last person sold their house last week. I really feel like this is a sign and it will be real soon.
There you go, you got a long explanation. Sorry you asked? ;)

Hi! I have a few minutes, so I thought I'd check in. No exercise yet, but plan to do something upper body. Not sure what yet. I checked out Amy Bento's new workout (I think it's called In the Ring)-there was a link in the Open Discussion forum, and it looks great! Does anyone have her weight workouts? If you do, how do they compare to Cathe's? How is the music?

Morris-you are already off to a great week of workouts! I definitely have to invest in sturdier sports bras.

Melanie-Your house will sell...I just know it. You are right, you might as well enjoy it while you still own it.

I am not nauseous, but not that hungry either. I just finished some spring cleaning and burning some CDs for my DS's 3rd birthday party favors. His party is in 2 weeks, but I wanted to get a head start.

I am off! Have a good one!
-Jen

Melanie, Hope your house is next to go! It would be awfully hard to keep up 2 homes.

Jen, You're organized! I'm usually up til 1AM the night before a party getting things ready that I've put off! I don't have any Amy workouts. Hope you stay feeling good for the rest of the day.

The apple I ate with breakfast made me so sick I had to puke in church this AM. I had a small piece of cake and ice cream this afternoon at DDs party - need to puke again. At least I feel better afterwards:) . A nap would be wonderful but I'll just go to bed early.

Hi,
Kate-I am feeling absoluetly awful today. Maybe I overdid it yesterday? I can't puke, but wish I could. When will this go away??? DH is making Mexican pizza now;( . I usually love that! Sorry you had a rough one too. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I didn't exercise today, and if I don't start feeling better I doubt I will.
-Jen

Kate & Jen - I'm sorry you are feeling so awful. I wish I could just take it way for you! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Melanie - Praying that your house sells real soon. Maybe with the new Spring season and if rates stay low, you'll have some luck. I can't imagine 2 mortgages...

Hey Lisa - How's the lip? I hope it's healing well.

DH still can't sleep though. I think having both surgeries so close to one another has taken a toll on him. 'The boys' down there are quite swollen too, so that can't be any fun for him. Hoping he heals soon.

Nothing much new here. Just anxiously awaiting my u/s tomorrow at 3:30, but scared too. I'm not feeling anything, but some fatigue, so I can't help but worry that something is wrong. I guess only tomorrow will tell. Pray I see a heartbeat!

Hope everyone had a nice, restful weekend.

Anne- I am keeping my fingers and eyes crossed for you tomorrow.

Morris- I love getting work out DVD's on Netflix. Most of the CIA videos are available.

Jaypea and ChefKate- hoping you guys feel better. I lived on poptarts and pepsi the first trimester.

I just took my girls to High School Musical on Ice- it was so cheesy, but they liked it.

My week started out really bad with being sick, but it wound up being pretty productive:

Tues: 4 mile run
Weds: Sharon Twombley All Body Attack
Sat: 1 mile+ swim, ME lower and core
Sun: LowMax

Even though I only worked out 4x, most of them were more than an hour so I am pleased. My legs are killing me. I forgot that LowMax is kind of a lower body work out too. take care! I am 24+ weeks.

Jen, Sorry you're feelin' yucky! It stinks to not be able to puke when you feel like it would help, doesn't it? I did get to puke (yay!) so buh-bye cake calories! Spent the rest of the evening on the couch in and out of sleep. Hope I can get to sleep tonight now.

Anne, Is DH *proud* of his swollen boys?!:+ haha! Sorry, bad joke! I can see my brother wanting to show people! I hope the US goes well tomorow. DH going with you? Everything is going to be great! You're still a little early to feel sick yet maybe? You'll hit 6 weeks and puke everyday! ((big hug))

Kristan, Funny on the eyes crossed! Glad you had fun w/ DDs. We go to the curcus next month - I can't wait. You had great workouts! I had hoped to tongiht but I am way too woozy. LowMax is a goodie, isn't it? When I can really give it my all it burns me for days.

Need to get ready for Monday (booooo!). Have a nice night!

Morris--Yes, I ordered STS--my body really responds well to serious weight training, so I'm excited about this and yes my body did appreciate the rest week, so I worked out this week and am feeling pretty okay.

Melanie--just hang in there with the house. It will sell given time. The market is slow here in the Portland/SW Washington area as well.

Jen and Kate--I'm sorry the two of you are feeling so awful. I sympathize so much--but I'm amazed at what you both are able to get done. Every day is one day closer to the second trimester, but it goes so slow when you are feeling crappy. Hang in there.

Anne--Boy those surgeries were close together. I'll bet he's feeling bad. I hope he has plenty of pain meds and time to rest. Is he able to be much support right now? And I agree with Kate, you are probably to early to feel any sickness, so I wouldn't worry on that score. I'll be praying for you about tomorrow.

Kristan--I'm glad you are feeling better. It always sucks to be sick, but it seems worse during pregnancy. What a good idea about getting workouts on Netflix. I'll have to do a lot of treadmill/stationary bike previewing of other workouts whilst pregnant.

Lisa--hope your nausea and lip are feeling better. My knee is much better. My big ultrasound is a week from tomorrow.

Hi Autumn, hi Lisa Marie

My workouts this week
2 40 min sessions on stationary bike
4DS Chest and Back, repeating cycles 3 and 4
2 40 min sessions on stationary bike
4DS Lower Body Premix (my calves are killing me)
4DS Shoulder, Biceps, Triceps
Amy Bento ASCII--4 in step and mostly grounded--my lower back is starting to feel sore

I feel better, but still icky. I cannot believe I don't feel normal yet. I am not sleeping well at night, but that's normal for me whilst pregnant. I am tired. I need to finalize our taxes and file them. Need that refund check;-) .

take care, everyone
Maggie

good morning everyone - happy monday:)

maggie, awsome workouts - that rest week did agree with you! don't you love asc2? i really like amy and am excited to get her new workouts, both of which i preordered.

hi jen - i hope today finds yu better. you are getting close to the 2nd trimester, though. hang in there.

hi kate - i was always envious of people that could puke instead of just feeling nauseous. i hope you get a string of a few good days.

hi kristan - low max really gets you, doesn't it? i am going to try the sharon workout this week from net flix.

anne, i will be praying all day for you and look forward to hearing something later.

hi lisa, how are you feeling?

hi autumn, hi lisa marie.

i had another rough night with this illness last night- head hurts so bad it is hard to sleep. i have my 26 week check on wednesday, so if i am not better by then, maybe my doc will give me antibiotics. todays's workout was imax 2 blast only and kbx from amy. i cannot remember the rest of the week, but it was a lot of running and 4ds weights, body max 2, cardio fusion. i am starting the gym styles again this week, so yesterday i did bsb - i love that workout.

Maggie, Sorry you're icky. Me too today - big time! You had some great workouts! Wish I felt better to do *something*! I have all of my tax stuff together - I just haven't mailed it! Pertty dumb, huh? Truth is we did pretty well this year and I'm really scared we will owe big $$$.

Morris, I hope you get some relief. Don't you love ob checks? I love to hear the HB. Have fun with GS the next few weeks!

I've had a really bad AM - alternating napping with puking. There is so much work DH needs me to do and I have to be at our preschool's open house tonight (and make cookiesx( ). I really just want to have DH come home early and wait on me hand and foot. Yeah, right! And monkeys are gonna fly out of my butt!:p

Hope everyobe has a good day - depite the fact that we all seem to be miserable!:D :D

Kate - you are so funny, b/c DH was admiring 'da boys' for a while and joking about it. At least he can have a good laugh! Sorry you've been so sick!

Maggie/Morris - Hope you're feeling better!

Hi Lisa/Kristan/Jen/Melanie!

Well, today's appointment was a bit of a let down. Since I'm only 6 weeks, 0 days, they said it's too early to see a heartbeat. :( But, I did get to see the sac and fetal pole so that made me feel a little better, that I am actually pregnant. I go back on 3/31 to see if we can find a heartbeat. So, another week wait...but well worth it.

Anne - Good news that you saw a fetal pole! Yeah, it's too early for the hb since you just made 6 weeks. I'm 7 weeks tommorrow and I'm not even sure if I'll get an u/s on Thursday.

Kate - I wish my DH would wait on me hand and foot also, but yeah, no luck. Esp. with the ankle.

Morris - How are your parents doing? It's been okay weather here. Kind of muggy, but not too bad.

Kristan - Wow, 24 weeks already! Time sure flies!

Melanie - I bet you're next to sell your house! Fingers crossed for you!

Maggie - Do you usually feel sick into the 2nd trimester? Sorry about the lack of sleep. I'm at that point where I have to get up to use the bathroom once a night.

Jen - I know what you mean about food that you usually love being so unappetizing.

Last week was one crazy week. Besides the lip surgery, nausea, and DH's sprained ankle, my FIL tore his ligaments from his knee up in California where he and my MIL are visiting my BIL. He had to have surgery this a.m. and we've been helping them get some things together like their bills, etc.. since they have to stay up there longer than expected due to the injury. I got my stictches out today and my lip is healing nicely. The biopsy came back good. No caner or precancerous cells. It was just a pigmented lesion. The scar is barely visible and hopefully when it completely heals, it'll be normal. The nausea has not gone away. I've just learned to deal with it. It has hampered my workouts though. I only worked out 3x last week and I haven't done anything this week yet. Everytime I get up I feel like I'm going to puke. I have my appt. this Thursday and I'm hoping I get an u/s. We'll see though.

Lisa

Lisa, Already peeing at night?! Yikes! Hope FIL make a full recovery! And yay! on the biopsy! I feel the same way about exercising but oh well for now. I'm gonna kick some arese in Trimester 2!!!!

Who here ordered STS besides Maggie? I'm totally getting suckered into it as I look at the blog, but I'm still not 100% sure. Maggie, do you have all the equipment needed for the program?

Lisa

lisa, i am getting suckered too! why do i even need it? probably don't, but i like the pics.i even have most of the equipment, but i just don't know if i'd get too bulky on it or what.

how is everyone? i finally went to the doc today and got some antibiotics - i feel like garbage still. as for peeing at night, once a night would be a dream:)

talk to everyone tomorrow.

Hi,
I would love to order STS, but am saving until I have more $$$. A very strange thing happend to me lastnight-wondering if it has ever happened to any of you? I did 4-Day Split shoulders, calves and core (with modified core) lastnight. I went to bed shortly after, and I was having crazy working/thinking dreams (the kind where it feels like you are not actually sleeping/just working and thinking). Anyway, I turned on my left side, and DH was turned toward me and breathing in my face. I had just turned to that side, so I didn't want to turn back around (I never said I was rational when I sleep). Anyway, I kept stretching my neck up to my head would be above his and I wouldn't get the breath in my face. All of a sudden, my right side (above waist) got all tingly. I got out of bed, and the feeling started moving up my face. It felt like I had gotten a shot of novacaine in my mouth. The whole thing went away in about 3 minutes, and aside from being freaked out that I was having a stroke, I went back to sleep. I hasn't come back. I talked to my sister (a dr.), mom, and people at work, and they all said that it sounds like a pinched nerve. Oh, and after that all went away, I got a bad migraine. I don't get them too often, but I do get them from time to time. That was just so strange. I was kind of out of it all day (still have a little sore throat), so I just kind of laid around tonight. Oh, and I am still nauseous. Tonight for supper, I drank a strawberry yogurt shake that I made and ate 2 slices of my son's french toast sticks. That's all I could eat.

O.K., enough about my drama...
Anne-Thanks for the u/s update. I am sure you will see the heartbeat at your next appt.
Lisa-Glad to hear the bio came back o.k. Sorry to hear about your dad.
Morris-what kind of sickness do you have?

Hi Kate, Kristan, Melanie, Autumn, Maggie

Lisa I preordered STS on Day 1. I do have all of the equipment.

Morris, Hope you get feeling better soon!

Jen, It def. sounds like a pinched nerve. What do you think of trying a chiro? Personally, I love mine. Your dinner sounds WONDERFUL, btw!!! Hope tomorrow is a less nauseous day for you!

I had a pretty good day today! Hoping for another one tomorrow.
Everybody have a restful, peeless night!:7
