Just a quick note to get us started. I did just 30 minutes of Cardio Coach 2 this AM. Really liked this one, clocked in 2.5 miles--good enough to get me going.

Anne [hugs][hugs] I read your post. I'm really sorry. Hang in there, and thanks for checking in with us. We've missed you.

Okay, I"m off to work, will check in later with you ladies!

Stephanie, Sorry about kid-drama, but glad you got a good WO in! Good for you for taking some time to yourself!

Jen, yay to the massage! I have a “free” one to use up at the birth center before I deliver. I’m excited to get it done but never seem to even make the time to schedule it, much less do it. Glad the dentist went well. One dentist I took Gina to was such a JERK! He did NOT want me coming back in the room and when I insisted that yes I WAS coming in he and I really got into it. I would’ve just left but Gina was having a cap put on (sad!), we had never seen this dentist before, and what on earth are you going to be doing to my kid that I can’t witness?! She was going to be under nitrous for an hour - how do I know he wasn’t going to molest her while she was knocked out? A bit dramatic, I know, but you never know.. DH did plumbing for a dentist that had a HUGE and I mean HUGE fish tank in the middle of his whole practice that each dental chair faced so you can watch the fish (all tropical, exotic) while you get dental work done.

Melanie, Sorry about your van-drama. Glad you got a nap in though. Make s a world of difference in my attitude. Good WO this AM for you. I hope your work day goes by quickly for you.

Susan, Sounds like a fun time with DD - poker and the clothes thing! LOL! She is so imaginative. And you def NOT a bad mom!

Anne, So sorry for all you are going thru. Glad you’re charting though - eases the mind to not have to wonder.

Well, there, I think I caught up from last night.
NOt much to report here. I conked out early last night, which I think disappointed Mike but I haven't been napping and I was exhausted so I ended up sleeping on the couch all night. But it was the best sleep I've had in over a week! I'll makeit up to him tonight!}(

Off to breakfast soon, bbl!

Good Morning!
Great workout Melanie! Have a great day!
Anne-I know the wait is so hard. You have the best attitude through all of this. Hang in there and it WILL happen for you!!
Kate-whats on tap for you today?
Hi Mikkia, Jen, Jen, Candra, Stephanie, Maggie(how are those feet today)
I slept from 10-2 then could not go back to sleep even after taking another pain pill. I feel very pms'y so Im expecting af in the next few days. Only 1 very insignificant bm for me yesterday. Bloat city. I think I'll get dh to pick up some stool softners for me.
Not much on tap for us today. Im sure we'll find something to do!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is feeling ok. I havent checked in for quite some time and thought i'd make an appearance. WE were in disney last week and had a blast. It was hot, but i made it ok. I had a good apetite so i ate like an oinker at the breakfast buffet with pooh. The kids had fun, they are here a couple more weeks. It is quite a full house with 3 kids and 2 dogs! Its tiring, especially when they forget what you tell them or dont always listen. Im at work now, working my 10.5 hour shift as usual.

I have had zero apetite since getting back from the disney trip but i force myself to eat anyway since I know I have to. Plus its a lot of kid food lately - nuggets and fries were last nite's dinner so i feel all around gross. And no workouts for me since saturday because i cant leave the kids alone in the room without supervision! sigh..

anyway, off to start my day..hope everyone is doing well!

Oh I LOVE To bake, problem is I eat it..and lots of it!!! I thought about making sugar cookies today though..they dont temp me but dd loves them.

good morning!
hope everyone is well this am. it is going to be 100 here today, so I am trying to decide if I should take the kids swimming at 9 for a couple hours before it gets too hot and work this pm? I don't have any appointments until 11:30...I am also being lazy. We went to the pool yesterday at 4 and it was just too much heat.
Kate-How is your beach vacation coming? feeling rested and relaxed? Sorry about dentist being a jerk, that is so uncalled for, you are just protecting your daughter.
Susan-how is your neck this morning?
Anne-Please keep checking in with us!
Melanie-next us is tomorrow. I am meeting my new dr. and touring Methodist where I will deliver and getting some lab and an us. then I am going shopping!!!!
Jen-sponge bob on the ceiling! How funny. I am glad it went ok. I had enough of the dentist this summer with my kids too.
Stephanie-Do you do any Amy Bento? I tried to do her step dvd last night and it is just too much jumping. I felt like bladder was a punching bag after 5 minutes. I need to order Jari Love off of Netflix.
I did work out the last 2 nights KPC and LIC and I liked it alot, but I am having a problem going to sleep. Anyone else have that problem with exercise at night?

Hey Mikkia, I missed your post. If I workout at night I have the hardest time going to sleep for hours after. And when I do sleep its very restless. I say go swim early, you don't want to get too hot! Yesterday the humidity was down and while it was inthe 90s it was nice out.

Jen, Sounds like you are having a fun but semi-frustrating time! (((hugs)))

Mikkia, I vote YES to early swimming! Your day tomorrow aounds like so mcuh fun! Wish I could join ya! And yes, vacation is very relaxing! Too relaxing! I feel like a bum! I hvae NO PROBLEM going to sleep after a WO - good thing since the evening/night is wehn mostif my workouts tend to be. I find Amy to be too much right now too.

Susan, Oh how I wish sugar cookies didn't tempt me! I took all of the Wilton classes so I have a TON of stuff for decorating cookies - DDs are in absloute cookie heaven when I let them get it all out!

Still need to leave fro breakfast!!!

Thanks Kate. They are fun to be with, but i find myself with little patience between working my shift, coming home to three young kids and 2 dogs. DH leaves when i get there on his work days so we dont see much of each other. They are good kids, but apparently can get away with more at home than I allow! I love them tho, but they keep your hands full.

I have worked out a lot at nite time too. It doesnt keep me awake but I have read that it does, so its completely normal.

You took Wilton classes? I took a few of the cake decorating ones and even sold a lot to coworkers when I lived in DC. I was getting quite good and had a goal of wedding cakes, but never got to take the final wedding course :( I sure wish I could own my own business at a bakery. But I have no schooling. Just what mom taught me, plus the small wilton courses...and no money for a business lol! I would LOVE to work from home when my baby arrives. Being a police officer just doesnt have that much appeal anymore when you are expecting a baby..

I also vote for an early swim! I wish it were me. I'm stuck at work until 5pm. By then i'm too tired and besides i'm in charge of dinner for the young un's. Its early bedtime since i get up at 530am!

Have a good day everyone!

Ok AF has arrived! I wasnt expected her today..but come on! Now I know why I couldnt sleep last night. Happens every month.

Kate-be a bum girl! enjoy yourself!

Hi ladies--

Melanie--Congrats on the workout! I'm itching to get cardio coach for my DH. I'd also like to try it. Do you use it with a treadmill or an elliptical?

Susan--Sorry AF came. Next month is a new month, though, and I'll be saying a big prayer it's THE month. :)

Jen--Glad the dentist went well! The cake decorating classes sound so cool. I'd also love have a bakery. My DH laughs at me when I say that because, he reminds me that bakers have to wake up at dawn. Plus, if I had a bakery, I'd be GINORMOUS. :) You sound like things are very busy and hectic. I hope that it slows down there for you. I'll send you some of my appetite. I have a big enough appetite for all of us.

Kate--Hope you're having a great time!! Your dentist story was terrible! I'd have done the same thing! The boys love their dentist. It's a pediatric dentist who has video games, RIDES and a big fish tank in the lobby. And in the examination room, he has TVs on the ceiling tuned to cartoons at all times. I love the place. Wish they let 34 year olds go there!

Mikkia--I haven't tried Amy Bento yet, but I want to. I just found these Jari Loves at Ross for $5 each, so I bought them. I really love the one I did last night, but I have to cut out a couple of the exercises and the entire abs portion. I only do the Preggi Bellies abs. I'm too scared to do too much because of what happened to Kate. Ouch! I workout mostly at night. If I get a morning workout in, it makes my day run a lot smoother and happily, but I can never get moving early enough. It doesn't bother my sleep. I read before I go to bed and that really relaxes me.

----
OK I need to go get dressed and ready for the doc. My little one came in to my room this morning with soaked pants. So I had to change/wash his bedding. Let me say once again how much I HATE changing bunk beds. DH will have to put the clean sheets back on when he gets home. I'm much too large to do it now. Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful day!! Eat lots, play lots and relax lots, Kate!!! :)

Jen, Myyounger sis took the classes with me. We've half-joked about her starting a cake/cookie business with me just as a helper, but it's not very realistic. I'm too busy with my kids and DH's business and she really wants to be an architect. But it would be so cool!!! I'm sure you have a lot of indecision about your job right now. I say "Make cake!" You'd get all practiced up and be so good!

Susan, Sorry about your visitor! Since she's here sooner you can TTC a little earlier than you planned maybe?! Thanks for the Bum encouragement.

Done with a big, late breakfast. We're headed off to go canoeing - I won!:D Isabel is crying because she wants to stay in the room and "play wrestle" with Daddy! ;( Poor baby!;( It's kind of gray out - hope it doesn't rain on us! I also hope my bladder makes it! I'm peeing all the time lately!

Hi everyone!

Cut my finger really bad yesterday, (insert stupid smiley here), but it feels better this morning. My mil thought I needed stitches, but whose got time for that? I don't care if I have a scar on my finger.

Anyway, I hope I get done with all the personals this morning, because I have to take ds 13 to help another scout with his eagle project and then I have to go back an pick him up and take him to wrestling camp.

I got lots done yesterday....

++++++
Lisa--Where are you? I hope everything is okay and that you are just busy.

Susan--you do have a great attitude--keep trying. Atticus is a wonderful name--reminds me of Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mocking Bird, a book I love. You and your daughter sure do have a precious relationship.

Stephanie--I live in the original house of stripping children! So your post cracked me up. I will add, that even though we live in the city our windows are pretty private, so no one really "enjoys" the show but the family. Thanks for the tips on swollen feet.

Kate--It sounds like you are having a great time. Don't worry about Mike--one night won't kill him--it will make tonight even better}(. I would feel really wierd about any dentist, doctor, teacher, coach etc that objected that strongly to parental presence, especially when they are "new" to me. I'm often not there for stuff, but I trust the people the kids are with, and it's not like I couldn't go in if I wanted to.

Melanie--I was sort of joking about the enema--but thanks for the advice. I'm only taking 2 stool softeners a day. I'll bump it to 3 and see what happens. Oh I'm so sorry about the van woes--I hate it when stuff like that goes wrong.

Jen--glad the dentist went well. And hurray that his mouth looks great! It sounds like you have a nice dentist. Enjoy your break from your education;). When do you start teaching again?

Anne--It's good to hear from you. ((((hugs)))) This has got to be an anxious time. I'll be praying for you.

JenM--Glad you are back safely from your trip. How old are the kids?
I always feel better when I eat when I have morning sickness and worse when I don't, but it is different for everyone. Are you feeling better in general?

Mikkia--100 sounds like a nightmare. Go to the pool now and then hunker down someplace air conditioned. I've been turning on the AC everyday for at least a couple of hours. Trying not to because I'm trying to save electricity, but I can't help it.

Hi everyone else! gotta go--running late--oops!

Maggie:)
35 weeks, 1 day

Stephanie, What kind of rides does your dentist have?! Oh my goodness! I betthe kids BEG to go~! LOL! Sorry about the wet bed!! We have bunk beds too - they do stink for pregnant gals! DH wouldn't dream of doing domestic chores so I'm the one, pg or not, to do that stuff. In fact last night I got super peeved at him! I took the girls out for an hour+ walk on the beach. He layed in the sun the whole time. When we got back we all came in the room and he said completely straight faced and serieous "So are you going to get the girls in the shower?" I was like "Excuse ME!!!" I gave him a look and he continued to watch tv. I gave him another look and he continued to sit there so I got up and stormed off for the bathroom. He followed me andI slammed the door in his face. Childish, I know, but I was really mad. He had just got an hour break, I had Isabel piggy-back a lot of the way, and *I* get to shower them. And he wonders why I went to bed and didn't put out! DUH!!!!

Okay, that was long...off to canoe!

Maggie, How'd you cut yourself?! I rarely go to the doc for myself either. Hope you have a good day! And keep off your feet!:7

Maggie--I'm sorry you cut yourself yesterday--Ouch!! That's funny about your kids being strippers too. Oliver used to do the "naked run" around the house before bath time, but I was a bit taken back when I saw Henry dancing in front of the window in his bday suit. He's my more reserved child. You know, I thought about the swollen feet advice after I gave it. I thought, Maggie is having her seventh child, I think she knows how to deal with swollen feet!! Hope they are feeling better! :)

Kate--The rides at the dentist are like the ones outside of K-Mart that they used to have when I was little. The little horses that go back and forth, a car that goes back and forth, etc. I'm sorry you got stuck with shower duty last night after your walk. You gave your DD a piggy back ride (I'm shaking my head in disapproval!!) BE CAREFUL!! I am lucky that my DH will do really whatever I ask him to do to help me out. His "job" around the house is to clean the bathrooms, and he also does dishes almost every night. And he gives the boys a bath and tells them their goodnight story. I think that sometimes, though, men just don't get the "subtle" hints we give them. They have to be asked. Sounds like you let your guy know though. Maybe tonight will be different. :)

OK, NOW I'm going to get ready to go. Have a great day!!

Ouch Maggie!! I do hope you feel better!
Stephanie, up until dd was 5 she was naked most of the time. We were watching old videos the other night and there she was dancing to Rockin Around the Christmas Tree..buck naked!
Kate-are you going to the beach today?
