Dawn,
Oh,where do I begin. I started trying to get pregnant when I was 28 and after a year of trying I had to see an infertility specialist. I was told that I had poor egg quality and was going to be in a menopausal state within a year. Well, we tried 3 round of invitro that resulted in pregnancies but I miscarried all of them. We were looking into adoption at the same time and we adopted our first baby girl Melissa when I was 31. Well, we still wanted to get pregnant so we chose an egg donor and we got pregnant that way and I miscarried again, but then had an instant succuess after that and had my 1st biological child who is Allyson. Well, we were done, but on September 11 (yes,, the September 11th) my 3rd daugher was conceived and that is Mariah. I have no idea where she came from, actually I do know, she was my miracle baby. The most important thing for you to know in trying to get pregnant is never give up and it will happen. You may have to get some help from a doctor if it is longer than a year, but it will happen. I learned from my doctor that don't have sex everyday. Find out when you are ovulating and have your husband abstain from any activity, that way the sperm is a lot stronger and you are more likely to get pregnant. Also, yoga helped me through those tough times. I really nurtured my body with yoga and meditation. Good luck and I know how frustrating and sad every month that goes by can be. Just hang in there and I really liked the book called Infertility by DR. Mars. It was really informative on what tests and procedures you can have done and when. I will be thinking of you and keep us posted.
