Well, I ended up getting the interview! I was just finishing my yoga and the phone rang. I go at 2:30 pm but I'm going over Mom's for eggs for lunch in a bit and she's going to drive to find the place with me. I'm not familiar with the suburb it's in and my Mom was born and raised there. Last job interview I had, I think I blew cuz I couldn't find the place and had to call a couple of times. I have a HORRID sense of direction.
Anyway, did Patrick Goudeau's Hard Work Conditioning. Workout was 69" long and I burned 499 calories. This was a bit on the easier side for me, and I pushed it a bit here and there to up the intensity, but I wanted to stay somewhat low impact for my feet. This was fun and innovative. I like Patrick alot. Next time I'll add ankle weights for the standing leg work and up my weights a bit. Wasn't sure what to use....although this was a real leg fryer cuz it was 1 compound move after another. I have a gift cert for Collage, so I think I'll get another one of Patricks...although I can't decide which one.
I also did Yoga Shakti...only 30". I did Dancing Warrior 3, Standing Flow 1 and Supine Poses and it felt really good. I wanted to do some inversions, but the phone rang and it was the interview....so I had to get moving.
I had a protein smoothie post workout and just had an apple, Danon Light & Fit Yogurt and 10 almonds for a snack. I'm gonna have eggs for lunch.
NOt sure what to expect at this interview. It's for an aluminum fabricating place in a sort of bad section of town by the old Steel Mill's. Should be interesting.
Yikes - I just read yesterday's thread and I've already forgotten stuff I wanted to say.....so I"ll have to read it again later and repost.
Jen - so sorry to hear about your test.....but looking at the bright side, I guess an egg donor is better than nothing. At least it will by your DH's sperm...correct? so, it's still a better option than adoption. I think you'd connect with the baby more that way also. I hope it all works out for you. My prayers are with you. Can you rent a Patirck Vid from Netflix? I think you might like him cuz he's not as intense as Cathe but he's good and puts a different spin on things.....but he says "Oh my Gosh" a lot.....although it doesn't bother me....but some have said it bothers them. He's very professional and cues well and he's fun.
Yve - my feet are hanging in there. I think the Yoga Toes have been helping and I've been watching the impact a bit due to my healing fractured foot throbbing a bit. I can't believe all of the stuff you can't do when you're pregnant. That sort of sucks. I'd go nuts if I couldn't do lying spinal twists....especially being pregnant and probably suffereing from some discomfort as you get further along....although, my low back always hurts.....so maybe it's just me.
Gotta run...have a few things to do before I leave for Mom's.
test
Have a great day ladies.
PS.......someone asked about my DH and how he's being. Actually, he doesn't like me working weekends and nights. He said the house is empty without me........go figure!! This, from the man who always tells me to get out of his room and zip it! He said his life is all out of whack too! and he doesn't like me being out of the house late at night.
