Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was walk/jogging for 45 minutes. I took my Bassett Hounds out again-they are so much fun but they really tend to slow me down! I am trying to increase their endurance, so we usually only stay out for about 20 minutes, but I really wanted to keep going today so I kept them out longer. I also tried to jog with them a little to get them used to it. They barely made it home! I thought they were totally spent, but then I accidentally moved my keys and you should have seen them jump to attention like they were ready to go and do it all over again. Too cute! Lenny had his 1 month cancer check up yesterday and he remains in the clear, thank goodness!
Yesterday's workout was BBC Legs. My legs were shaking on the very first exercise, so it wasn't my best effort. I kept telling myself it was okay to stop the workout at any time, but somehow managed to do the whole thing. I am trying to decide whether to do 2 weeks or 3 weeks of BBC. It is so taxing, I keep thinking 2 weeks only, but I am getting some good results with that and the cardio, so maybe I will go longer. I am glad I have these things to think about to keep my mind off of taking a pregnancy test!

I am supposed to test on April 2nd. I don't *feel* pregnant at this point, but it is way too early for any symptoms.
Lora-I vote for a recovery week! I am sure you are overdue! Thanks for posting about the Cindy Crawford's-I would take you up on it, but I already caved and bought them on DVD last year. Sorry for the work troubles. I guess I am not shocked about it, considering the he)) they have already put you through, but it does seem just over the top insulting that they are being cheap, too. Keep looking and don't give up hope...sometimes the best jobs come open when you already have a steady job, it's just the irony of the situation. What does your DH think about you taking the job permanently? Have you ever talked with a recruiter or headhunter? I think there are some out there that specialize in medical placements. I am not sure of the details when they find jobs & negotiate for you, but you have a good point about all the years of experience you have in the medical field.
Kel-Wow, you are really getting back into it now! Sounds like you are discovering lots of premixes. There are so many out there I haven't tried. I think Cathe did a couple of "just premixes" rotations last year that I will probably explore this year. That's really good that you found a lower body premix that you liked...I so know the feeling about the words "good" and "lower body workout" not really belonging together. Have you decided about jumping back in with Barry's yet? If so, do you usually do it in 4 week rotations or shorten it? I would love to stick to four weeks with his, but I think they would start to have a dread factor by the fourth week.
Have a great night everyone!
