Trying to Fit Yoga In for Wed April 9

Morning Ladies - or should I say Kel!

This morning I did Kelly Coffey's 30 Minutes to Fitness. I did the first half hour with cardio breaks and the last 30 minutes with abdominal breaks. I had a better workout this time, as I went slightly heavier than Kelly except for deadlifts which I went light on due to my back problems. I REALLY worked the cardio breaks and did get my HR up in the 130's...but they are very short......so not a lot of cardio. Workout was 61" and I burned 398 calories.

Kel - I think this is a good workout to purchase. It's not real heavy on the lower body work....but I have SO many DVDs that are lower body intensive so I'm glad this isn't. I had a much better workout today going heavier and really working the cardio on the rest periods. I'm not sure if I'll be sore tomorrow....cuz it's basically traditional weight training and I never seem to get sore unless I do something really different. I really like the 30-day Shred DVD also and the new Barry's....but I won't suggest the latter because I feel the price is too steep on them. Yes, the thread has been lonely lately. I'm hoping that Carrie will find her way back her eventually. Jen's probably stressed out with work and Yve has the new baby.....so I'm sure once things calm down.....everyone will come back?? or at least, I hope. I enjoy talking to you, though, so I'll keep starting the thread.

This morning, I did 4DS LIS plus Shoulders & Abs. This workout felt easier to me this week too so I think I'm regaining some of my lost strength & I'm really happy about that! I've also got DOMS in my butt, hips, & hamstrings from yesterday's BBC Legs, as expected, so I'm happy about that too. All except for the fact that I'm having trouble walking today but I'm sure that will pass. It doesn't help that all I've done so far today is sit so I think I might go for a leisurely walk for a few minutes before I eat lunch.

Lora - I still haven't spent my b-day gift card but I don't know if I'll get platemates, gliding discs, or some DVDs. I definitely have that one, along with 30-Day Shred, on my wish list, though. I had pretty much ruled out the new BBC because I like the original one so much & it just looks so different. I just don't think I'd be all that excited about it once I got it. I enjoy chatting with you too & I really haven't found another group I feel like I would fit in with yet either. I wouldn't mind joining another group, in addition to this one, though, but I just don't know what some of the abbreviations mean so I can't figure out which one to stick my nose in. So for now, I'll just hang out here & maybe join another one if or when I figure it out.

Hi ladies! I am really trying to work my way back to posting again. Work has been completely traumatic lately. I have been doing 2 Director jobs for awhile now and I have really hit the wall. I am just putting out fires every day and since I am rushing through everything I am making more mistakes than my perfectionist self can handle. Add that to the infertility stress and I have just really been a mess for about two weeks now. Quick update-the first IUI failed and I am already on the second round of shots. My next IUI will probably be on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I just can't seem to produce enough eggs each month to make it to IVF. The dr says I should have 20 or more....and all my body can manage is 3. x( I finally worked out tonight after a week and a half of nothing. I went jog/walking for an hour. Felt really good and had lots of energy considering all the rest days I have had lately. Sorry I am bouncing all around subject-wise, but I am typing as fast as I can just to get something in tonight.

Lora-I am so wanting those new Barry's and the 30 day shread! I have been wondering how work is going for you lately...I have got to get caught up on the previous threads.

Kel-Nice avatar! :) Yea for the DOMS! I hope I haven't missed any pictures you posted of the new 'do. How are you liking it? That's great that you are getting stronger. Are you all done with your follow-up visits from the surgery?
