Trying to Fit Yoga in For Tuesday Aug 1

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Muscle Max and then I did 15 minutes of HIIT cardio on the bike....1 minute sprint followed by 2 minutes recovery. Workout was 1 hour 30 minutes and I burned 411 calories.

I went to the foot doctor yesterday. He took x-rays and the fracture now appears on the films and he says it's not stable enough right now for lots of walking -- even with the boot on. He told me I should get a wheelchair in Vegas, but I know that's not going to happen. I'm also not supposed to be jumping on the rebounder or trying to do any aerobics in my boot...other than the bike! This really sucks. I'm probably going to have to have another bone scan to rule out osteopenia again also. He doesn't agree with the other doctor's theory of my previous metatarsal healing funny causing this one to occur. He thinks the other one healed just fine.

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was run/walk intervals for 45 minutes. I was sweating like crazy! It felt really good to run for almost 20 minutes straight. That is how hard I need to be working all the time! I am barely getting my workouts in since I am still getting home late. Last night I did Slow and Heavy Chest only-it's all I had time for but at least it was something. I went heavier than usual on each exercise and I am feeling it today!

Lora-Oh man! That's bummer news about your foot! So, which doctor do you think has it right? I couldn't imagine being in a wheelchair on vacation! Are you going to take his advice? Is there a chance your foot won't heal correctly if you don't stay off of it altogether? It may be worth it to rest it, if you can get it back to normal faster. I know it must be difficult, but keep that in mind....you've got your overall health to think about. Some people take a couple of weeks of rest and actually come back stronger. I know this is easier said than done. When is your Vegas trip? Can you rest it until then?
